Too many buttons- it's easy to get lost in what does what, not to mention broken scripts and model links. I prefer the regular scripted version; only a few crucial buttons such as "return dice" and the satisfactory feel of actually rolling and drawing cards.

A lot of objects not loading at the start of game. Google drive items not sure what the objects are.

Clicking on "Start Haunt" works correctly, but clicking on the specific number gives the error "Error in Script (Global) function <derp>: function is not a function and has no __call metamethod."

No idea if that's intentional, it's just that the high-lit number does have the 'click here' button on it and seemed to want to be clicked.

I got an error. Load .json error: bad Json escape sequence \$. Path 'luaScript', Line 14, position129892.

I tried un subscribing and re subscribing hoping it would fix is there something I could do to fix it.

@KRABBIT the person who rolled the haunt dice is the person who has to click the "Start haunt" button, else it will register who ever that clicked Start Haunt as the haunt revealer

This is a fantastic script btw, I was playing last night and once it got to the haunt it highlighted it in the book and it seemed like the script broke? We had to figure out traitor ourselves. I was also wondering if there is an easy way to do the traitor thing? We had the traitor blindfold as heroes read their portion and set up and then heroes blindfold while traitor sets up. Is there a way we can streamline that so it can be done at the same time or perhaps make hands so every player can have a copy of the book in front of them? Let me know if I missed something! Thanks :)

once it's started you just have to redo the zones, you cant undo hitting the haunt button.

Is there a way to change the haunt once it's started through the script? Say you're using the alternate rule that allows you to pick a new haunt if you've drawn one you've already played. Is that scripted, or would players need to reassign themselves manually and such?

Heard a complaint today about some of the mod's bags being too small to return tokens to (the obstacle bag, for example). That should be pretty easy to improve if you'd like to.

For the dice roller, I don't think that is possible. I will look into it, but last time I checked scripting wise you have to have players bind keys for stuff like that which I would rather not do.

The event symbol on the Operating Room is def a problem but it isn't something scripts can fix. I am sure its possible through photoshop, I will look into it.

Appreciate all the suggestions @phinneyj. I don't think the event cards going into the discard is the best idea. The only reason I say is that is because a lot of players like to keep cards that don't need to be out, out. Like Closet and such. Some people even end their turn early while finishing an event and I don't want it to fly into discard. Some stuff just doesn't need QoL fixes. That being said, if I have free time I will def try it out and play test it.

As for the girl, dog, and madman figures, when I host the game I do not play with those. I give the dog to the player, but when it comes to actually using the dog, I tell them just indicate what the dog is doing, no need to have a dog figure following you all the time.

The dog, madman, girl, and cat omens could also have a button to spawn the respective token/figurine. Or perhaps automatically link it to their character token.

The ideas keep coming: The event symbol on the Operating Room could be given a darker background so it isn't missed by (unseasoned) players.

Oh...but for the event card suggestion, there are a couple events that players keep at the end of their turns. Flytrap and the one that requires people to read the traitor tome intro/ending.

Two new feature suggestions: New tiles should auto-lock when the turn is passed, and any drawn event card should automatically go to the discard when the turn is passed. Just trying to make the game better for us lazy players ;)

I noticed two more things that would improve this quality of life version. The first is that the treehouse tile doesn't have a token button on it yet (unless you've fixed it in the last day or so). The second is a suggestion for all tokens to have a light-colored outer border. This last one is likely a lot of work, but it's always so hard to see that there's a token on a room because it blends in with the background too much. Cheers!

Sorry, the software engineer in me is behind these suggestions/questions. What if, instead of tying it to the color of the skill roller, each one was uniquely associated with a character card (and which state the character card is in)? As I've never scripted in TTS, I might be asking for something really difficult. Just thought I'd throw the suggestion out there.

I'll ask around and see which people prefer and I may change it to color of the roller = player, however the color tint can be changed to any shade of red but only 1 specific red value would work, which is why I rather not do it.

Ah, that would explain it. I guess it would be more intuitive if the number of dice rolled matched the color of the roller, but since that's an edge case it isn't too important.
