Make it so you have to finish the Quests for the Greybeards and End the Great War to get the Key for the Chest. To me I think people are going to get the Armor the easy way then making the Armor the way the game was ment to be

Try High Hrothgar instead, it should be in there. BTW I fixed the spelling for it now, I learned some "Nordish" from Google.

If you really can't find the place you get sent there form the main quest line on the mission called "The Way of the Voice." If you go to Ivarstead it has a path up the mountain you can take to get to the top where it is located.

Where exactly is High Horgath? I've been attempting to find it.

Sarcasm doesn't always come out in type very well. "Nordish" still isn't my first language and you still have yet to use proper sentence structure, like capitols or punctuation. That was a joke too BTW.

"Nordish" is not my first language so yes, I misspelled the fake made up place. I hope you can understand that a fake place, in a fantasy game, in a made up universe, on a fake land mass, will never be real no matter how it is spelled. In real life try using proper sentence structure when criticizing someone's spelling mistake like maybe using a comma, or even a period, dude.

Go ahead and make your own armor then with gold trim, bet you could not even do it at all. It was my first mod ever; let's see what your first mod looks like. Make sure you link it in the comments here so we all can see how you do with your first mod.

I loved this mod. Been using this since August.

@denniskuster I have thought about a light version and if I do release one I will most likely add it as an update to this mod, maybe as a stand alone version. It may be a while before that happens however depending on how much free time I get.

Can you make the same with the light dragon armor?

That first menu that pops up before you hit the Play button to get to the game itself has a tab called Data File below Options. Please check to see that the Gold Dragonbone Armor.esp file is marked as an active file with a X next to it. I'll send you a message with more details and so we can troubleshoot to find the issue if that isn't the problem.

the only mod i have this one. nothing else.

I added a photo of where the chest should be for the Armor. If you have the top perk in Smithig for Dragon Armor you can check to see if the mod is loaded correctly in game, you should see gold versions of the armor that you can smith. If you don't have that perk, you can use a console command to see if the items are loaded in game. Just hit the tilde key and type Help Gold and use the page up and page down buttons to find the gold armor on the list of items that come up. If the items are there, but the chest isn't, then the only thing I can think of is maybe you have a mod that changes High Horgath interiors? If you do let me what it is called so I can check into any compatibility issues with that mod. I hope this helps.

there is no chest near a firepit or the walls near it.

If your walking in from the front (mountian trail side where you fast travel too and the outside chest is) as you walk in you can see a fire pit/wall next to the stairs going up toward the back doors in front of you. Stand in front of the fire pit/wall you see (same place as you stand to use the shout where they summoned the phantoms to shout at) facing the door you came in and you should see the chest against the wall in front of you.

i cant find the chest in the main hall> the only chest i see is outside of high horgath< but its empty>
