Should I place this above or below hives expanded?
Bauchnabelfussel Mar 24, 2024 @ 2:39pm
it works, it is awesome, but to much, like i dont see other enemys

if the other want it harder, then tell your game in the start that you want many nests
Wertologist Jan 29, 2024 @ 10:18am
Can you make a more intense version? Just more fogmen, more nests, and more fog?
The Beast Jun 1, 2023 @ 7:50am
make it so they can make invasions like of 100+ fogmen and they can capture cities for a dead hive compound (just like cannibals)
ItzRainbowtastic Oct 10, 2022 @ 7:41pm
It requires Fog Praetorian heads along with princes, heavies, workers and fogland bones... that's hella expensive xD
Ulasp  [author] Oct 10, 2022 @ 6:19pm
I don't think I made the bone research more expensive
ItzRainbowtastic Oct 10, 2022 @ 4:15pm
Why the hell is the bone research so expensive?
Ulasp  [author] Mar 3, 2022 @ 9:48am
Haven't played Kenshi in a while but I believe this still works
Juroguy Johnson Mar 3, 2022 @ 5:27am
Does this still work?
ColdOneK Mar 14, 2021 @ 10:55am
Oh hells yes. I will 100% be using this on my next playthrough. The fog islands are one of my favorite places in Kenshi - extending that to cover the map sounds amazing. I did see that you tried to make a "blood moon" type event in the 'no fog' patch - a shame that didn't pan out, but thanks so much for making this! :D

Skeletons are the perfect race for this mod!

So what ever happened to the zombie apocalypse mod? I still have it installed but it seems to have been removed from the workshop for no reason.

Just giving some feedback! It's a great mod, and makes the world feel very dangerous.. But it seems like gigantic hords of basic fogmen just randomly appear behind you sometimes. I've had this happen on multiple occasions, and that can be quite frusturating. Not sure if there's anything that can be done to fix it, be downloader be aware!

Great work on the mod. I love it. I also have the gun manufacturer mod and those guns are op af the weakest doing 100 damage a shot and I still managed to get overrun by fogmen. I'll be the odd opinion out here on this one. I love the constant fog. Usually I would just zoom all the way out and avoid enemies as i go but the fog makes that impossible and to me adds a layer of fear because sometimes i have to zoom in on my toon just to be able to see him which makes it harder to see flanking fogmen. Again great work I love it.

@Ulasp
After playing with this mod for a while, I can say that I'd love a method to permanently defeat the fogmen outside of Fog Islands. Like you spoke about, maybe a mini boss in each area who exists in a small compound, and when killed, fogmen disappear from that area?
GamerFromGondor May 21, 2019 @ 4:40pm
Its a good mod, but it adds WAY too many fogmen, didnt expect what I got
Ulasp  [author] May 14, 2019 @ 5:30pm
It should since i didnt modify the fogmen at all, i just made them spawn all around kenshi
GamerFromGondor May 14, 2019 @ 4:12pm
Does it work with Hivers Expanded and Grand Fogmen Prince?
Bellum May 9, 2019 @ 8:45am
Nvm, was thinking of something else
Bellum May 9, 2019 @ 8:34am
Is this mod compatible with the fogmen expanded mod?
Ulasp  [author] Apr 19, 2019 @ 5:12pm
You can download the no fog patch if you dont want fog
FrenSheep Apr 19, 2019 @ 2:56pm
This Semen like cool mod except for the stupid fog.
Ulasp  [author] Apr 4, 2019 @ 7:57pm
I can make the fog to be less thick occasionally and spawn some kind of boss in each zone that if you kill him the fogmen will not spawn anymore in that zone but, the fog will stay there, i dont know if it is possible to remove weather via world states
Dune Apr 4, 2019 @ 7:40pm
I absolutely loved the fog in the Great Desert at first. But after hours of play, I started to feel claustrophobic because the fog stays thick most of the time and you can't see very far. Can any variance be put in to give you long views occasionally? Also maybe adding some kind of boss in each territory, that once defeated the fogmen go away or become unagressive. Is it possible?
BajaBlastMeBabe Mar 30, 2019 @ 8:20pm
i will not speak falsely to you your "inner machinations are an enigma" of warped and twisted designs and quite possibly the most beautiful thing I have ever installed.
Ulasp  [author] Mar 27, 2019 @ 10:33am
That can happen but it is rare actually, because most of the times fogmen try to enter a town, they are just a low amount of fogmen
Luke Mar 27, 2019 @ 10:28am
It is very fun and I love it :)

I have a question though, can/will the fogmen outright attack towns intending to destroy them, and can towns be destroyed? I am doing a playthrough with this and was wondering if I should expect some depopulation as the game goes on.
Ulasp  [author] Mar 27, 2019 @ 10:23am
I made this mod just for fun, is not meant to be immersive
Luke Mar 27, 2019 @ 10:13am
So fogmen in this mod (not sure if this is also in vanilla, never went to Fog Islands for good reason) seem to be taken prisoner in cages and also enslaved by NPCs. This is hilarious but also kinda broken and doesn't make sense, is this also in vanilla and if not, is this intended/can this be changed? Seems like a massive war against cannibal-zombies should not involve trying to enslave or otherwise detain them.
Ulasp  [author] Mar 27, 2019 @ 10:03am
At the bottom should be fine
Luke Mar 27, 2019 @ 8:38am
Load order? Should this be at bottom (priority) or top (low priority)? Asking because I have a lot of mods and I'm having some CTD and spinning circle crashes
Ulasp  [author] Mar 26, 2019 @ 8:20pm
Hey i really like your mod a lot, since i first installed it now i cant play without it, right now im using both mods and it is really a chaos nowhere is safe lol
RoyalFox Mar 26, 2019 @ 7:21pm
This actually works a lot better in Kenshi than zombies to be honest, one thing i could never figure out was how to make nests. They just never spawned. I'm happy to see the zombie idea being used in a fresh way.
Mordor_citizen Mar 26, 2019 @ 2:15pm
Thank you
Ulasp  [author] Mar 26, 2019 @ 2:04pm
I think but maybe you will need to import your save
Mordor_citizen Mar 26, 2019 @ 12:57pm
This mod can be installed during the game? I think starting a new game with him is not a good idea
Ulasp  [author] Mar 24, 2019 @ 11:23pm
Hmmm that might be posible, i just need to figure it out
-Rune- Mar 24, 2019 @ 10:49pm
Thanks for the no fog patch, what would make this awesome is to create fog where the fogmen spawn so you have a clue and chance to avoid. Not sure if that's possible
Ulasp  [author] Mar 24, 2019 @ 12:21pm
I think i can do that, but the only thing is that it would work only for the fogmen to spawn, the fog will be there the whole time, i dont see a world state trigger in the seasons or weathers.
Ulasp  [author] Mar 24, 2019 @ 12:03pm
The no fog patch is out now! you will need this installed too
Pickled Prawn Mar 24, 2019 @ 11:39am
I mean making the fogmen start to invade when you destroy the forts that are in place to hold them in the foglands.
Ulasp  [author] Mar 24, 2019 @ 11:09am
Sure, ill make the no fog version!
-Rune- Mar 24, 2019 @ 10:01am
Running this with the zombie mod makes life very interesting, but also agree the fog is too damn annoying everywhere. Will resubscribe if a less foggy version comes.

Good mod though.... less or no fog please
still alive* Mar 24, 2019 @ 8:56am
@TNexus, Yep! I agree with you.
TNexus Mar 24, 2019 @ 4:42am
Like it ... would love to see a "no extra fog" version though.
Ulasp  [author] Mar 23, 2019 @ 8:15pm
I think i can do that but, you mean making the fogmen take over one of the cities?
Pickled Prawn Mar 23, 2019 @ 7:46pm
I wonder if you could link this mod to a World State trigger? Such as taking the HN fort and one of the cities?
