I recommend you use Transfer Manager CE instead of this mod. This mod is outdated and doesn't work any more. But Transfer Manager CE is still updated, and even has additional features.

Chaos has some weird grudge against boformer and bloodypenguin. He has a list marking a lot of their mods as "buggy". Is he mad he didn't get hired by CO?

From what i read through discord. on METM(c) there's a little part of code with a list of people which will be affected (10 app) and will get harmony (r) downloaded and can be exposed to malicious malware to be downloaded through it. so 99% won´t be affected but steam can´t allow any of that.
Is the skymods version updated with the latest fireIA applied to other services? I think it's not

Perhaps someone could remove the offending code that Steam says is the problem from the continued version and we can get a version back that they don't consider malicious.

@StayHungryStayFoolish, I understand that the continued version did not accidentally fail, but rather contained a bit of deliberately malicious content (even if it affected only limited numbers of people). Those are not equivalent.

The continued version was a great effort. As you know: Edison failed 10,000 times before perfecting the incandescent electric light bulb. So we don't need to worry if we see someone fails. This is the road to success. Let's help and encourage him.

I have never issues with the fish factory doesn't get fish. Is the product it produces that is the issue. It looks like that only can be exported.

@IanLai yes, you are right, it cannot be imported, but the factory is just staying there, the traffic flow shows, that the factory will get the fish from the only 1 cargo harbor and its railway line has an only outer connection. So fish factories were always in trouble.

as far as i know fish can't be imported. only produce locally
if you use warehouse store fish (he mod from bloody penguin), there is an warning in log file say something unexpected type fish transfer request

@IanLai as I learned, the fish industry does not perform right, the fish factories are usually requested imports, instead of buying the fish next door. I have seen this with zero mods, but as we all know the vanilla game does pretty annoying logic, which is not lifelike, the goal is to create massive traffic (thx Paradox). fish market usually have fish, but the fish factory not, and next to the extractor building
that is from the release of sunset harbour, but i do not change anything with AVO
and i think there is no other mod interfer with this or they crash each other

This mod works better than the METM (C) version of it. However, your cities will need some time to adapt to new logic and to start working well (When I done testing for METM (C) I let my city run for 2h before doing tests, to make sure all AI logic was applied correctly)

On the other side, you must place districts accordingly, disbalance can be made in storage-production-import-export because that's what this mod resolves and creates.

As I am using the original version of this mod for a few years, I can confirm there are no critical issues and METM (C) had lots of critical issues.

All tested on a few new games, and my old one with a 500k population, everything works fine so far. Also, I cannot confirm that mod works good with Airport DLC because I dont have it.

@IanLai I had a fish warehouse next door, which is producing huge traffic, even though I have increased the capacity with AVO of all fish trucks, my fish factory and market always has enough fish.

i think this mod does not work in some situation.

- generic industry
i put all different warehouse with all kinds of resource ( plastic, wood, animal , paper, grass , metal etc) and generic industry does not use them . instead they request from import or other region to transfer. the problem is some building does not generate request , but they say don't have enough raw material(click the building>toggle traffic route view).

if i disable this mod , those building generate request and start transfer . though not from the nearest warehouse.

- fish industry
does not work from the release , always not enough fish from factory while tell me not enough customer

More Effective Transfer Manager (continued) is gone: deleted from the workshop, so I should not put finally it to the list of "AVOID THESE MODS". However I am not fully satisfied with this More Effective Transfer Manager, but at least it had no weird (critical) coding.

People where not screaming "FIX IT NOW", people where constructively giving feedback on bugs in his version and he just couldn't handle that. He was screaming that these were not coming from his version of the mod. Bit of a different story.

@WackRam At the time of last pcfantasy's METM update (21/feb) chao's harmony don't even existed, this original METM is safe. I use it since 2019, it have some flaws but IMO is better than vanilla and the (c) version.
Btw, I was testing METM (c) and didn't saw any "fix it now" in the comments or any kind of rude behavior, only saw users finding bugs and cambrium telling that those bugs didn't exist, but I'm not here to judge any of them.

I used the old pcfantasy version up until airports was released Then with all the airport lag bugs many, many mods were getting updated, and I saw a "continued" version by cambrium. He seemed to interact with questions on the discussion page until some ass-hats whined "FIX IT NOW" too loud and he closed the comments, yet still released a couple more updates and features, which seemed to work well as of the past 2-3 releases

If the original by pcfantasy still works with airports, great i can switch back.

If the new one does not have malware, great put it back up on the workshop and send the man an apology.

If the new version is in fact malware show it and thank you for finding it.

*Not interested in getting into an internet pissing match with anyone.

That is what I tried yesterday but I haven’t got created any harmony2 in that mentioned folder. That’s why I asked if you are really sure. Well - seems it doesn’t matter now as updated METM got removed :(
