Out of curiosity, was there a particular constraint that led you to not hand out 20s for any attribute outside of flair? If Maradona does not merit max stats for dribbling and first touch, nobody should have a 20 for anything.

great database. one thing tho, id say its overloaded with players from way beyond most of the users who dowloaded its generation. theres a few players from the modern era that should definitely be included van der vaart (ajax) , babbel & owen hargreaves (bayern) , mark walters, willie henderson, jorg albertz, ian durrant (all glasgow rangers) just off the top of my head, there will no doubt be more but these are just from the clubs i would start games with.

Frem were bankrupt 2 times an havent done anything for Danish football the last 40 years. I would rather say that OB or AaB have a better History rather then Frem. Vejle is a good choice for the history. But you still forgot AGF one of the most traditonal clubs in danish history of not the most traditonal club since KB merged with B1903. So i would have loved to play as KB and not FC Copenhagen

Sorry, but I dont understand why you underrate size of that club. They won 6 championships from 1923-1944, 9 times theye were runner-up, and 6 times 3rd placed, so it is pretty long run of years when they were at the top. Also they won Intertoto cup twice, not important continental competition, but still it counts. They had a lot of former players which played for Denmark, such as Per Wind, Ole Rasmussen, Hans Colberg who played few games, and legendary danish players John Hansen, Johannes Ploger, they won bronze at Olympics 1948 and Pauli Jorgensen ) the most important player in first 50 years of danish football history) and Sophus Nielsen, legend who won 2 silver olympic medals for Denmark. So, whether you want to admit it or not, Frem is an important part of danish football history.

Sorry to tell you. Frem never was a great team. Then you have to make a team called KB. They hold the record for the most dansih natioanl championships. The merged with another great team B1903 and is now FC Copenhagen. So i beg you please take Frem out from there. They arent a great team. Brother please I know this because I'm from the country not some research you did on the internet about great danish clubs from the passed :)

I put Vejle and Frem because I made few legends for them, and as I researched they were great teams in Denmark in the past. I am planning to made legends for other danish club in next update, but have to find more resources. :)

Why Vejle and Frem in the Euro League from Denmark. Who have put into CL from that country??? You should have put AGF, OB, Lyngby, AaB or Brøndby in it if you're looking for traditionel danish clubs. But Frem why not Hvidovre instead :-) but good work dude. Hats of for you

So I started a new game with Ajax, but all my players are speaking spanish instead of dutch. Checked some other clubs/players and it seems like all the created dutch players are speaking a non-native language (spanish and german mostly) instead of dutch. Problem only seems to be with dutch players. Is this something I can fix from my side?

Thanks, I didn't set them as CBs, that problem occurs because you didn't follow instructions. You probably set small or medium database, or select some other editor file with this. Try again and their positions will be correct.

Great db, especially English and Spanish divisions are really fun to play with, thanks! Big thumbs down though, on setting Vítor Damas (Sporting Clube Portugal), Manuel Bento (Benfica) and Vítor Baía (Porto) as Centre Defenders, they were all legendary players for each of these clubs indeed, but as goalkeepers! :-D Still, great effort overall

As I said in instructions, you must wait for 2-3 hours to game create a new save.

do i need to do anything after subscribing to this? I cant start a new game it gets stuck at one point

I have managed t fix the facepack issue, what I did differently was to subscribe to the mod on here and make sure that i had no other mods running in game apart from this. If you do that and follow the instructions above, it should work fine.

Thanks people. Van der Vaart and van Gaal retired in meantime, so they dissapeared from my database, I will readd them next time.

I am loving this database! Thank you so much for creating it and the countless hours that must go into it. Is there a place to give player suggestions for any future updates/versions? Being Dutch I am probably biased, but I would argue that Rafael van der Vaart, Ronald de Boer, Louis van Gaal (as a manager) and the Witsche brothers are deserving to be a part of this amazing database.

yes have to agree facepack pictures on wrong players

annoyingly the facepack pictures has started to go to the wrong players. it worked for about a week but when starting a new game the picks started to go to the wrong players

Thank you! look, I put the players in those clubs where they were the most important, where they achieved most success, exceptions are certain players, who would be redundant in certain clubs.
At example, some players like Zidane, Nedved, Ronaldo were fantastic in a few clubs, and it is very difficult to make the right choice. IMO, Zidane achieved more at Real than in Juve, even his peak was from 1998-2002. In Real he won ECL, in Juve he lost 2 finals. Also, on his position Juve have Platini and Boniperti, they were bigger and more deserving legends for club than Zizou. But in Real, at his position there is only Di Stefano, who also can played deeper, so Zizou could be first choice. The same thing is with Ronaldo, so I put him in Inter, because Real and Barca have many bigger and deserving legends in attack than him.
In case of Mihajlovic, he was crucial player for Red Star squad which won European Cup in 1991, together with Savicevic, Prosinecki, so he must be there. :)

I think the database is awesome and the level of work and detail is amazing. Thank you very much and excellent work. My only query/criticism is why the inconsistency with players at clubs? Most start at their original club mihajlovic at red star for example, yet zidane is at real and shearer at Newcastle. Seems strange to select some players to have at their peak club while the rest start where they started.
