Yeah, can't say I like the new framework, but I too appreciate the subtle animations they put in. I also doubt that a single mod can use both frameworks and both game versions.

I would suggest uploading it as a seperate mod at this point seeing as the new Kurin is using a new framework to the old one.

I dont really know how to so probably not. I can try but I think that would be better off as a seperate mod

Since the authors of Kurin dont have time to update it anymore (and im massively grateful for what theyve already done, the new mod is amazing. I mean, pawns that blink?!?! What is going on with the world?!?), but since they cant do fixes, I was wondering if you might know how to? Because Ive found some issues already. I know its probably asking a lot so feel free to tell me to get lost, Im purely just wondering. Thanks for working on the translation!

So I made the new mods and it works fine. I still have to do all the backstories, so probably still until the weekend until its done. However the next mod will be after on the load order. Dont know why that one works properly and not this one but there you go.

So I have had a gander and its a bit diffrent and their is some stuff added. As there was issues with my original translation (Google translate mixed with loads of it to do) Im going to start again from scratch. Luckly I'm free this weekend so hopefully I will have it done on sunday in time for supper!

I will have a look at it this weekend, I dont know how the updated mod has changed.

Just thought I would let you know that I tried this mod with the newly updated Kurin and I got the error "This mod did not add any content". And when I went into prepare carefully, none of the background options were translated, so it doesnt look like it worked. Im not sure why that would be but I thought I would let you know. Cheers!

On one of the two Kurin mods there is a comment by its owner from january saying they are going to do a big update. Im guessing they are still doing that. They might release a 1.1 version early if we are lucky. This mod will have to stay at 1.0 version until the main mod updates and probably doesn't need anything done to it as its just language files. If we are really lucky the promised features of a translation in the original mod will be apart of a future update making this mod defunct. If it ever gets updated at all. If it doesnt get updated I might learn how to update and edit mods properly and do it myself. But lets hope that will never come to pass.

@Lumberfoots will this work on 1.1? if not do you think you will update it? Thanks for your hard work!
Also, do you know if the owner of the original Kurin mod is still active? I havent seen any sign of them and the mod hasnt been updated in a long time. Makes me worried Kurin may die with 1.0.

My game was set in German translation, only a smal advice for players who play with a different translation. otherwise it works well

Its an english translation, what do you expect. I believe the term is a feature not a bug.

It does not work properly if a language other than english is set in the game

Anyone know how to make Kurin Clothes? The option doesn't show up at the tailor bench, and I see no research options...

Is the translation patch not working? I tried before and after the mod and it still doesn't work. It's weird.

So this mod has to be befor the real kurin mod to be able to translate it?

I have just tested it from the workshop and it is working fine. Check you load order and make sure its before it and not after. Also see if you have any mods that might over ride it. Also make sure you are using the right Kurin mod.

Yeah, methinks an update or something broke the translation somewhere down the line. It worked for me last time i checked, but I've since gotten a new computer and the translation no longer works sadly.

I'm starting to have issues with backstory translation no longer working too :(

I'm not sure if it's Prepare Carefully's fault, but the backstories aren't translated for me. I'm hoping it'll work in game.

Its really not that accurate. I had to machine translate it and then make sense of the gibberish. Maybe its just me sense of humor and the fact its also true is we I put it there.

Reading "bad translation" I thought this was going to be a silly/joke translation.
There's a famous YouTube channel called Bad Translation.
Maybe swap it to Just say English translation and comment you're not sure if it's that accurate.
Otherwise, someone like me would have skipped over it if my wife hadn't caught that it was a legit translation.

I think it only effects some language files so you should be fine. Hopefully.

Do you reckon this will play nicely with save files? I'm a hefty way in through a playthrough with these guys and I'd hate to lose it

@RCP Mione youn need to load the translation mod above the mainmod not below.

I take the translation only works on the base game as I use 'Prepare carefully' mod and it still shows up untranslated. which is a pity as I'd like to know more about the childhood and adult hood back stories.

I wish there were more mods like this. for instance ratkin or other ones that are totally in a different language. I can't tell you how helpful this mod has been for me. You're just one of those everyday heros. Thank you so much for this mod!

It translates the base mod into English. Nothing to do with Japanese, Sorry.
