the mod was working 1-2 years ago or when ever i subscribed to it
dionysus May 20, 2016 @ 3:01am
the mod is not working
some items have weights
all my crafting items have weights

potions, books, food, ingredients that is what is working
AssFknHatMofu Apr 22, 2016 @ 3:32am
Nah, leave them alone. They come in handy. If someone doesnt like whats in them, they can certainly pass it up and go on their way. I for one like the barrels.

I appreciate the notice. I have heard that there seem to be an incredible amount of these barrels skattered about; it was my intention to only have the one in Whiterun. If I ever get back to being about to do these mods again I will most likely do it from scratch and include support of the expansions as well.

Yeti, as a small side note in my game at least the barrels outside Honningbrew Meadery are marked Steal so it could make Whiterun's Bedlam jobs for the Thieves Guild all too easy. Don't know if that's happening for others but, thought I'd let you know.

Would be a useful mod (including for newer players) if the barrels/items added by this mod were removed entirely.

God this is a hell-a useful Mod,quite useful if you are crafting dragonscale armor
Wolf14Vargen14 May 27, 2015 @ 10:52am
unassuming barrels are no problem just have a house where you keep all the loot from the unassuming barrels also i found a trick to get infinite gold its easy just uninstall the mod after you loot the one in whiterun then save then quit skyrim then uninstall the mod then start skyrim again then go to the same place in whiterun and save then quit skyrim then install the mod and start skyrim and loot it again and do it over and over to get infinite gold without cheating
SilentRage Mar 16, 2015 @ 8:32am
Sorry guy, I have to lose this mod. Those "unassuming barrels" are freaking overloading my inventory. I found 9 outside Honrymead brewery alone. That's just over kill, and they refill after a couple game days.... I found a better weightless mod
SilentRage Mar 11, 2015 @ 9:31pm
ah, so this is the mod with the "Unassuming Barrel." Yeah, I walked from Whiterun to Ivarstead and autoharvested 20k worth of every thing needed for crafting. Thanks but that is a bit much abd my autoharvest notes are still scrolling up my screen....
Hinter Knight Nov 30, 2014 @ 8:24am
This mod is freaking awsome :)
Sassy Nov 14, 2014 @ 7:22pm
It's really very odd. I have two sitting on my porch at Willow Creek Cabin, a player home mod nestled up against the mountains in Riverwood. I recently played through Falskaar and found a number of them around various areas as well as in dungeons, bandit camps, etc. I don't mind collecting the contents from the ones on my porch <G> but all the others struck me as odd. Anyway, I'm not complaining, not in the least. Figured you might want the additional info! Thanks again dear, your mods are always installed as "must haves" with any setup I have going on. Ciao! :D
yetihead90  [author] Nov 14, 2014 @ 7:16am
No, I only meant to have one in Whiterun, next to the Blacksmith. I don't know how those others appeared.
Sassy Nov 13, 2014 @ 3:04pm
There are actually quite a few of the "Unassuming Barrel"s in the game. Kinda makes collection via plants, gems, etc. pointless. Did you mean to switch so many of them to the Unassuming flavor? And thanks for the info on the changed name items. I appreciate it! Ciao! :D
yetihead90  [author] Nov 11, 2014 @ 4:51pm
@Sassy- I've been messing with the creation kit a bit more, and unfortunately I don't think you can have two different mods affecting the same item. So you'll either get one or the other, depending on the moad order.
@Wolf- Yea, I just realized that yesterday. There's about 4 barrels outside Honningbrew Meadery. Of course, whether you have 1000 of an ingredient or 5000, I don't think it'd make tht much of a difference. I'm still curious about how that happened, though.
Wolf14Vargen14 Sep 26, 2014 @ 5:55am
nice mod btw there is more then one barrel
Sassy Sep 6, 2014 @ 8:26am
Correct. If I load it first, the weight comes back as soon as I load the renaming mod. If I load it last, then it only affects those things whose names have not been changed. I don't even know if it's possible to do this without touching every renaming/sorting mod out there. That would be a TON of names to include. Hopefully there is a way to attach it to say the word INGOT or even the name of the ingot like IRON or STEEL. Hmmm that last one might not work as I have a mod that changes metal names to things like Mithril and Molavite.. I hope I've sparked your interest :D Take care hon and thanks for all your mods, I love 'em! Ciao! :D
yetihead90  [author] Sep 5, 2014 @ 2:38pm
So long as the other mod hasn't changed the weight for the item it should still effect it. So you're saying that dispite load order you're not getting the weight reduction on the items that have their names changed by other mods?
Sassy Sep 1, 2014 @ 2:19pm
Yeti, does this also work on items that have been renamed by other mods? I know it's probably a stupid question... I guess my true question is if I load this before the mod that renames/sorts the items will the mods removal of weight carry over? I mean say I have an Iron Ingot, it weighs 5lbs, I load your mod, which removes that weight. Another mod renames the items to Ingot: Iron, will the weight reduction carry over or does the other mod trump it? I've been trying to play with load order but haven't been successful yet. Thanks in advance and as always, love your mods!! Keep up the good work! Ciao! :D

Great mod but the barrels are OP!
Unomii Jun 10, 2014 @ 5:59am

Weight is the one issue I had with skyrim and with this mod and the earring of godly unburden, it is solved. Thanx
MoseSchruteJr May 28, 2014 @ 10:15am
could you make it so everything is weightless
FloRage Mar 9, 2014 @ 7:41am
domage tout les noms sont en anglais
darkrising439 Mar 3, 2014 @ 3:40am
thanks
darkrising439 Mar 3, 2014 @ 3:40am
I really dislike the fact that this mod scatters 'unassuming barrels' around the world because it makes smithing enchanting and alchemy ingredient collection pointless. Would it be possible for you to release a second version of this mod with no barrels please?
Krosesuleyk Jan 11, 2014 @ 7:24am
could you make it work with all DLCs?
the-autumn-alchemist Dec 20, 2013 @ 11:55am
I have found so many barrels with all this stuff XD I have found... let's see... at the brewry just outside Whiterun about 5, I've found a total of 7 of them at an abandoned House in Solthestein, and many many more... I'm trying to not have opened more than two due to problem when I happen to have so many that it pretty much makes the game crash IF I have more than... 9 of the barrels loaded into all the ingredients and items in general. But it is an awesome mod. thank you!
Crow Dec 15, 2013 @ 7:33pm
I have to remove, then redownload this mod with each character to get the items in the barrels
OffPhil Dec 8, 2013 @ 11:27am
does it affect the DLC?
Slajdeer Dec 4, 2013 @ 11:11pm
2 more barrels I found in Riftens warehouse
Krom Dec 4, 2013 @ 6:59pm
hmm...I cannot use this. When click play, it goes through the Bethesda screen and then just exits. I only have a couple of other mods installed. I unchecked all of them and only try to run this one and have same result :(
DARKSHATOW Nov 27, 2013 @ 6:08pm
Not sure why you placed this under the Magic tag.

Specific_Antagonist Sep 6, 2013 @ 5:45pm
Hey yeti I was wondering if you could make a mod which makes enchantmants last forever, if you can I'd be glad!
Notleks Sep 2, 2013 @ 6:46pm
Hey Yeti i was wondering if you would be able to make a mod that changes all self effecting spells (mage armor, summons ect) last alot longer? maybe make them 2-3mins each? it would make it a bit more balanced for higher difficulties
NewToVideoGames Aug 20, 2013 @ 5:16am
Is this mod compatible with Item Sorting?
Level 1 Goblin Aug 19, 2013 @ 10:08am
