Like, the game showing you have armor but still not taking it into account ?
The combat log and the damage numbers seem to add up here.
Do you have any more details ?
The buff effect is based on the paladin's zealous aura armor bonus, so it should work just fine.
and pillars monks can get armor by one of their modals, based on current wounds number, armor being different than AC
Armor Rating in this game is closer to Damage Reduction in D&D.
Anyway, I'm just nitpicking at your description.
