@PrincessStabbity ok thanks!

@medea_speare : I'm not sure... but at that point you might as well disable this. This "mod" literally just contains an empire design so if you're using your own, you don't need it.
medea_speare Jun 5, 2020 @ 3:05pm
If I enable this mod and force spawn the empire through saving in the empire menu; Will i get 2 Thessia empires or only the one I have modified and force spawned?

I don't know, I wonder what I've been announcing in the comments of the main mod for the past couple of weeks. I bet it's some exciting stuff that might be worth checking out n_n

@Princess Stabbity A belated thank you for your belated answer. I'm now using the Paradox Mod Manager (it's...not great, but oh well), and I think the reverse is true in that.

@Synthesis: You need to put patches below the mods they override.
Synthesis Oct 22, 2019 @ 7:30pm
@Princess Stabbity I think I encountered the same situation unfortunately (I have it very close to the top of my load order, but who knows if that's how it works in the new mod manager).
Princess Stabbity  [author] Oct 11, 2019 @ 2:04am
IMPORTANT!
There is apparently an issue with how load order is determined by Launcher 2.0 (Stellaris 2.4.0). If the mod is active but the civ has failed to spawn in your game, try disabling and re-enabling this mod in your launcher to reset its load priority, and start a new game.

@WeerW3ir: Because this is more convenient for end-users who aren't aware that they can set it up manually. It also shows that we now officially support AI functionality for our prescripted empires. Previously we did not and users spawned them at their own risk.
WeerW3ir May 8, 2019 @ 12:32pm
But if that way works. why then a mode for it? :thonking:
Princess Stabbity  [author] Mar 23, 2019 @ 5:41pm
@JLBOCK: Yes, that still works.
Joles Mar 23, 2019 @ 7:44am
Just a question. When I just have the original mod, click on edit, save and set the new empre to always spawn it is exactly the same, right?
Princess Stabbity  [author] Mar 20, 2019 @ 3:20pm
@ArcticJack: No, MEC: Asari is not made redundant by the MESP. the species pack's version of asari is completely separate and based on a very very old iteration. Of the two, we recommend the MEC version.
ArcticJack Mar 19, 2019 @ 4:59pm
So, I know that this requires one mod (Mass Effect Civilisations: Asari), but since that is redundant with another mod by the same people (Mass effect species pack) would there be a problem switching one out for another?
Princess Stabbity  [author] Mar 12, 2019 @ 1:39am
@sovied: Would have been much longer if it hadn't switched to online on its own a few times >.<
soived Mar 11, 2019 @ 6:27pm
Have you actually had your account on invisible for 136 days?
Princess Stabbity  [author] Mar 9, 2019 @ 9:13pm
@Amentus: Force. They should always spawn unless either a player is playing the same prescripted empire or another empire exists with the same name.
Amentus Mar 9, 2019 @ 5:57pm
Do these force or just allow them to spawn?
Princess Stabbity  [author] Mar 8, 2019 @ 10:02am
I... completely forgot about it! Thank you!
TheSting Mar 8, 2019 @ 8:11am
if this mod functions off of another mod, you can list the parent mod as required using the author options on the right hand side panel. it forces the user to subscribe to the required mods, in case they dont read the description.

just some friendly advice

@micahr238: Elves spawn their civs a bit differently. They are set to spawn by default, but we do have an optional module to make them not spawn .

Do you mean you would like to control the prescripted empire spawning separately?
micahr238 Mar 7, 2019 @ 2:36pm
Is there any chance of doing this with the elves maybe?
Princess Stabbity  [author] Mar 7, 2019 @ 10:15am
@Scrambles: Not really. We just wanted to provide a more "official" method. I hope at some point Paradox just lets us add spawning controls directly to prescripted empires. For now, I guess this will have to do.
Scrambles Mar 7, 2019 @ 10:08am
This is a noob question but... is this any different to just editing the pre-made civ and then setting it to always spawn?
Worheda Mar 7, 2019 @ 7:17am
Glad to help, I discovered it when I accidentally clicked the link on this mod, and decided to see if it happened on the other as well.
Princess Stabbity  [author] Mar 7, 2019 @ 7:09am
Ugh! Copypasta, you have failed me!

Fixed now! Thank you for pointing it out <3
Worheda Mar 7, 2019 @ 7:06am
The link in the mod description leads to Downscaled Ships.
