my game is very lightly modded (only 10 that have esp files), mostly just the ones I created. I know EnderalEdit (xEdit) https://www.nexusmods.com/enderal/mods/23 has a mod conflict detection function. perhaps that can help you narrow it down.

I don't have the SE version, I'm running on 32 bit. It doesn't work with all my other mods turned off either. I don't understand how it works on yours but not mine.

@Icefeather, the 32bit version or the SE 64bit version? this is working fine for me on the 32bit version. it will probably not work on the SE version.

I installed this mod but I don't think it works with the current version of enderal, and it crashes the game. Can you update it?

@Blackdragon, is this mod not working for you? I don't have this, or any mod, on Nexus ... if it's a mod from Nexus you're having trouble with, you should contact the author(s) there.

Can anyone convert/update the Circlet Enabler mod to work with all armor sets, like the Wandering Mage? Nexus versions don't work with newer armors.

Works for me...great mod!!
Alinent Mar 26, 2019 @ 2:09pm
yes, i made all the aforementioned procedures and, unfortunately, nothing. Still, thanks for the concern, a shame i couldn't enjoy your mod

I love this mod <3 Thank you very much! I didn't create a pretty face to hide it under a ugly (but very good) helmet XP
Xenophobe  [author] Mar 24, 2019 @ 5:13pm
I didn't post this on nexus, this should work fine on a game in progress since I made it mid-game. did you use the launcher's Steam Workshop button to install the mod, then go to the Data Files button to make sure it's checked and then click Save Changes?
Alinent Mar 24, 2019 @ 12:37pm
well, i tried both versions, this one from workshop and the one from nexus mods, they appear in the data files as downloaded and active, but definitively didn't worked for me... it only works on new games, perhaps?

Thank you so much. This mod is awesome!
Finally no more ugly helmets. And it works perfectly together with https://www.nexusmods.com/enderal/mods/2

@Zorena, are you using any other mods that modify the set armors? Try moving this mod to the bottom of the mods list (and save changes) to see if being last in the load order fixes it.
Zorena Mar 15, 2019 @ 6:53pm
@Xenophobe I did that but nada. I also installed another mod and it went fine.
Xenophobe  [author] Mar 15, 2019 @ 2:56pm
@Zorena, in the launcher click 'Steam Workshop' and install the mod, then click 'Data Files' and make sure the mod is checked, then click 'Save Changes' under the mod list window.
Zorena Mar 14, 2019 @ 5:49pm
Sadly this isn't working for me. I still have the ugly helms.

@ChanyaDragon, the armor type is heavy for heavy, light for light ... I just changed the models to the default circlets and changed the names to be more circlet sounding.
SinglePlayer Mar 14, 2019 @ 1:50am
do they keep the armor type tho? so Ratcatcher set is heavy armor does the substitute circlet count as heavy armour as well ?
GloriSteed Mar 13, 2019 @ 9:52pm
yeah the falmer crown comes from the dawnguard dlc, yet sadly I have no idea what kind of software you modders use.
Xenophobe  [author] Mar 13, 2019 @ 9:29pm
@Aviate, I just ran it through TES5Edit and there were no dirty edits, no duplicates, no undeletes ... totally clean. I can't find any reason why that happened to you.
Aviate Mar 13, 2019 @ 3:31pm
@Xenophobe Yeah, i don't know dude, it caught me off-guard as well, because in my mind this mod shouldn't even be remotely close to touching a character's stats. But sure enough, after I uninstalled this mod, because it was the only logical thing that made sense of the sudden crashes I was having, all of my character stats were reset and knocked down to "15" across the board, sneak, marksman, light armor, heavy armor, enchanting, handicraft, rhetoric, all of them.. Health, Mana, and Stamina were reset to default level 1 stats.
Xenophobe  [author] Mar 13, 2019 @ 6:08am
@GloriSteed, ah... the jagged crown ... don't think I ran across the falmer one (or just didn't find it useful) in my skyrim runs. if those are in the modified skyrim BSA files (not sure if they are used for enderal) then you could make a mod to do that.
Xenophobe  [author] Mar 12, 2019 @ 8:53pm
@Aviate, no idea why that would happen ... it's all vanilla assets with no changes to the stats, just changed to use the base circlet models.
Xenophobe  [author] Mar 12, 2019 @ 8:48pm
@GloriSteed, I made this mod since there isn't a hide helmet option and the circlets hide less character face. I'm not even sure what high king crown or falmer crown you're referring to.
GloriSteed Mar 12, 2019 @ 6:47pm
I wonder if you can use the algorithms for replacing the headgear to other kinds of headgear maybe the the highking crown, the falmer crown, etc?
Aviate Mar 12, 2019 @ 6:19pm
Was having problems with the game crashing during the zone loading, when crossing into a new area, after i installed only this mod. Uninstalled it and it reset all of my character stats, my level remained the same though. >.<

Reinstalled mod to see if I could reverse the effects, even went back to an earlier save. Stats still reset. :( character ruined.

updated to alter the names with Veil, Mask, Ventail, Helmet, Face and Hood to be more circlet related.
HoneyBee Mar 7, 2019 @ 10:09pm
THANK YOU!!! :D

Oh neat, this is a nice option.
