Updates? Not compatible now, I think.

This mod is a great way to care more about your people (I named them, so I love them and will be sad if they die) and to even get notified, that there is a new human in your colony.
Maybe it is disturbing when I have hundreds of colonist, but at my current game state it's great.

It would be great, if the gender is shown in the popup. Some default names are really weird and I don't know, if I should give it a boy's or a girl's name.

@ZorkoGoat: Thanks for your input. You are right at the moment it lacks options or maybe a checkbox to skip time if the naming is inconvinient.
I will look into some changes but it will need some time because I am a few thousand miles away from home right now.

The Mod does exactly what it says, but for me, the problem is, it would do it when I am right in the middle of something one to many times, especially when my colonist started a baby boom

Actually I think it helped to clarify some things about the mod. Subs and Favs went up considerably after that - in it's small capacity.

This mod is for convenience. You can name your colonist directly after birth/creation because a naming dialog will show up.
Whether a player manually wants to search for every new born/created colonist in order to rename him, like in vanilla, is to his own discretion.

This is nothing new. Players can change the name without this mod. Its part of vanilla game.
