I went back into that save running gigas and matter synthesis only and am now seeing matter synthesis rather than mining districts, but instead of transmuter jobs they provide 15 mining jobs

Have u unselected and reselected the segment?
Does it have mining districts with just gigatructures?

I've checked and it doesn't seem to work. I'm not a modder, but it looks to me like gigas overwrites the district list for hive and machine worlds so it can fiddle with the housing provided by districts, giving them modifiers for techs, Agrarian Idyll, etc.

I checked the code, it just seems to use the mining districts. I suppose I'll get back if it there seem to be any problems in-game.

I thought gigas incorporated the matter synth district already. If not it should be as long as the planet class wasn't changed :LotusFlower:

Looks like no changes are needed at all and this should be compatible with both. The file this uses was a slightly edited version of the one from the MSSR mod but theres nothing there in that that is used to overwrite any districts. So this will (should) work with either version of MSSR :LotusFlower:

Sorry.

This patch wasnt "for how the original mod replaced the Energy segments" This patch was to give people the MS Districts on the Ascended Ringworlds.

That mod you linked is not a patch. Its just a seperate mod. One that I'll need to make a version of this for. As of now if you have this and that linked mod then your ms districts will still overwrite the energy district.

As far as I knew the patch was for how the original mod replaced the Energy segments with the MS segments, the more ya learn I suppose, cheers!

Does that version add the districts to Hive, Machine or Assimilated Ringworlds? No of course it doesnt so of course you still need this lol :LotusFlower:

It was worse than just that, all the districts for hive/machine/psionic/assimilated districts where all using pre-update values. Thank you :LotusFlower:

I didnt accidently make it like that. It is from before the ringworld change.

@Cephalon Sithalo I think you may have accidently made it so that the Matter Synthesis districts only add 2 jobs and 2 housing per district. That would make sense if it was perhaps an old save of your mod from before PDX super-buffed ringworld districts. I think the base for them now is 20 jobs and 20 housing per? Not a coder, but that's what it looks like when I cracked open the mod to look at it.

Updated, fixed colony type stuff.
Overwrote Ascendancy Ringworlds district file to prevent mining districts from showing up so hopefully MS districts will :LotusFlower:

This mod just allows for their District & Buildings to be built on a Hive or Machine Ringworld and for those worlds to get their custom colony type :LotusFlower:

If you have the required Matter Synthesis District for Ringworld then they should be able to as that one applies the district to the standard ringworld :LotusFlower:
