Does it have mining districts with just gigatructures?
This patch wasnt "for how the original mod replaced the Energy segments" This patch was to give people the MS Districts on the Ascended Ringworlds.
That mod you linked is not a patch. Its just a seperate mod. One that I'll need to make a version of this for. As of now if you have this and that linked mod then your ms districts will still overwrite the energy district.

Overwrote Ascendancy Ringworlds district file to prevent mining districts from showing up so hopefully MS districts will
I have to tweak some files but then I'll update
This mod just allows for their District & Buildings to be built on a Hive or Machine Ringworld and for those worlds to get their custom colony type
Its ready to go now though
