@Xera144 I don't believe it would work with megacampaigns. If they have done anything that modifies religions in the game mine would undoubtedly break both mods. To make it compatible would require editing every icon strip associated with religions in the game to add both of the mods religions and then you would have to edit the religion common files to match the icon strip order. Basically everything I did to make this mod would have to be done all over again for whatever megacampaign mod you want it to work with.

Sorry I haven't messed with this in so long people. I had a lot happen this year and I ended up taking a break from EUIV for a while due to moving and getting a new job and other stuff. I've updated the mod for 1.29. Everything should work unless something changed that I am not aware of. Let me know if you encounter anything wonky.

Hey could I use this religion in a mod to reform alexanders empire? Would link this mod in the description. IT my first mod and I dont really wanna make a new religion when your mod dose everything I would want from it and more

does this work with megacampaigns? i have a hellenic Byzantium save but they show up as pagans and im forced to convert them to orthodox. if it doesnt do you know how to add the compatability in and how long it would take? or do you know any mods that can help me out? (nox mod hasnt been updated in a while)

Whats the religion code because I want to play a vanilla nation but I still want to become hellenistic.

besides the description of the religion itself I saw minor things that referred to the ruler as basileus or other minor things in the events

@xmlviking3 Elysians? strange I shouldn't have any refrence to that in my mod. I'll have a look. Can you tell me where they showed up? Was it an event or something in the interface?

u left a few descriptions unedited (elysians) in ur localisation file btw
u should go over them again like religion_desc

@MahakalaProduction Yes it should be! Seeing as those two don't changing anything with religions it should work fine. I've been using it with Beyond Typus and Idea Variation.

@Mr. Canafa Have you tried the direct download link? Hopefully that will work for you.

it's a shame that the workshop is so stupid, i can't get it to even show up on my religion list. i've been looking for something like this for a long time, though, and i'm excited to get my hands on it!

@Artemis You mean like a decision for greek nations to change to Hellenic? Might be interesting and not to hard to do. I'll give it a shot when I get some time. Maybe tomorrow or friday.

@Artemis what i did was used the cosole command "change_religion hellenic" while playing byzantium and it will swap your religion to it, it a really fun playthrough

You should possibly in a future update add some form of Hellenic & Christian syncretism, would be fun to play with as the Byzantines or other Greek nations in this time period, as they were all Christian

ok completly understandable, i agree that adding a huge amount of gods would make the religion pretty op and broken, i was mainly refering to the main ones,(being Hephaestus, Hestia, Artemis and the other major gods), i will also keep my eyes open for icons for them as well. Keep up the good work!

@chrisjayl I've thought about it, but I'm not sure how strong that would make certain playstyles. While mods being overpowered can be fun I made this as something I hoped would be balanced with the other religions in the game akin to the norse and hindu religions. If I added more gods I would fear there would be too many options for any situation available. Not too much to worry about for a monarchy, but for a republic it gets pretty crazy. While I'm open to adding more to it I will probably take it slow. I have to find more diety icons too. I do plan to add the rest of the main pantheon though. Hephaestus not being there seems wrong, but I'm not sure about the more fringe gods. This became a longer post than intended.

TLDR:
I'll prolly add the rest of the main pantheon, but I'm not sure about the the minor gods. If anyone knows where I could find any good icons for dieties I would appreciate the help.

Strange, works just fine on my end so I have no idea what could be causing it. Almost sounds as if some files are missing which wouldn't surprise me with the way the workshop acts up. Hmm, maybe I should think about a dropbox link as well.

No, I am not. I have tried un-installing the mod in the folders, and re-installing it twice. Doesn't seem to do anything.

@elfboy5500 are you using any other mods?

I find it interesting... however, I can't seem to get dieties. The 'diety' selection button in the religion tab doesn't exist... and whenever that pop-up appears to select one, I click on one but nothing happens... Sad...
