This looks like a good biome for me to raise a "stone-age" style settlement :)

alternatively "mixins" : "stonehearth:mining:base_loot_table", is also fine.
(had wanted to PM you on the discord but couldnt message you)

Hey Omni, im not sure if you are still interested on working on this, but i found something you might want to tweak in one of your files for this biome so future mods that add resources to maps will stay comapatable by default.

you might want to , in the file
omniterrain_mining_loot_table.json

at the top go:

"type":"index",
"mixins": "/stonehearth/services/server/mining/mining_loot_tables.json",
"mineable_blocks":{

so wedge that mixins in between the index and the minable_blocks, that way it loads up the mixing people do to the default maps, and then if there are more ores (for instance, my mythril) it actually drops its ore when you mine it. ive got a workaround from my end nex push i do but it cant hurt to add that code from your end, for when someone in the future wants to add more stuff :)

Do seasons work properly on this map?

Would it be possible to create a standalone version of this for vanilla?

This Biome is made for Stonehearth and ACE, and shouldn't conflict with other mods. You will likely run into problems if you are not using ACE, and are using mods that conflict with ACE.

I will provide the screenshot later, as to the other mods I use... basicly the whole modding workshop with a few exceptions (for example im not using ace)

That is indeed strange K1ll3r, could you provide a screenshot of this? I've just gotten through winter on a playthrough and all was normal for me. It'd help to know what other mods you are using as well.
ElGurkus Jan 18, 2019 @ 12:25pm
was it intendet, that the winter is ~300 days long, and if not is it a bug on your end, or a compatability issue on my end. (also how can I fix it?)

Some minor fixes guys, Hunk of Hard Coal and Feldspar can now be harvested/mined from Stone and Coal nodes, seed recipes can no longer be harvested from grass. Added Ball of Mound Clay to be harvested from dirt as well, get your porcelain on!

My main goal, is to blow up, and act like I don't know nobody. HYAH HYAH HYAH HYAH HYAH

I tried this in ACE, and I mined quite alot of coal from coal veins, but it never dropped Hunk 'o Hard Coal. I have heard of this problem in other custom Biomes too. Hopefully it can be adjusted here!

Originally it was not intentional, it likely occurred when referencing other completed biomes to help create this one. Though I had come to enjoy selling the seeds and learning new farming recipes as a result of modifying terrain. This doesn't happen naturally in any default biome, so I decided to leave it in.

Cheers

i keep getting a lot of seed boxes as i farm things i think this is not intentional right?
Banto Jan 16, 2019 @ 10:46am
i really like what you did with the spawnning of trees i think most biomes are just full of spammed trees everywhere but this seems more natural and better looking to me and i also like when bushes are not spawned in groups of 2x6 rows its better with a few spread out here and there and some inside forests :D
Banto Jan 16, 2019 @ 10:35am
Oh i love the new colors of the world :D

Mining up the grass does not produce thatch. Did I miss where I can get thatch in this biome?
Omni  [author] Jan 15, 2019 @ 3:19pm
Unfortunately controlling formations consistantly like that is incredibly complex, though simulating those formations within this biome is incredibly possible. The flat land will only ever be surrounded by mountains, your seed and map selection will help you control this- so find a nice large flat space between some mountains, perhaps it'll be what you'd like!

Is there a way to design a biome to be flat in the center ringed with mountains? But love the new biome.
know_thyself Jan 15, 2019 @ 1:08pm
I was just thinking yesterday why has noone has made a multi-biome mod. Guess this is the answer.

Thanks guys! Any feedback, good or bad is appreciated for future projects.

Cheers
