Once that whole part is over, there comes the backup. At first, I felt it was really unnecessary to have to kill them all, especially after the gauntlet that was the first half. Now I think it's fine due to all the weapons that are left on the map by the time it happens, but I still think it would be less of a chore if the player just needed to get back to the car with the backup blocking his way there.

loved it :phono:

So...this level is awesome. The first room is really neat because it looked completely impossible at first, but can be cleared through some good headshots and vent travelling. The rest of the level has an interesting layout and is nicely mixed with the elevator. Admittedly, undead can get bunched up in there, but that's a fault in the AI (you can't really do anything). Plus, it encourages the player to use the sledgehammer for a high risk/high reward strategy, which can always be good fun.

Whether it's attempted with the sledgie or not, it's necessary to pay constant attention to your surroundings. With most levels, this is frustrating because it makes the player feel powerless, but since almost the entire stage is visible at once, undead don't really pop out of the blue. The level is also filled with a couple little check point rooms where the player can take a breather.
