Not sure if you are still willing to work on this, but neither the Guardian wisp nor the Mana jet spell damage is increases by player level. They just stay static.

playing with t2 essentials: currently doing a synergies run and we came across a bug where the preachers vorthex does not generate the bar for other players

Loved the class. A little rough to start out in Veteran Synergies, as I was going a Spirit Summon Only Build, but once I hit 16 life got a lot easier. Thanks.

hi Darkstar, I am interested in using this mod as well as The Double Agent in a mod pack I am working on. It will be a fairly large class mod pack featuring some of the best of the different class mods out there. I may do a couple mergers as I have about 70 classes listed here and that is just way too many to do in one MOD I think....so am doing more rerearch and thinning it down and trying to get perms and that is where I am at with it right now. thanks for your help.

@†Genesis† all of my mods are balanced for vanilla TL2. Playing them in synergies is slightly more difficult, but still viable. The Preacher can work perfectly as an assist in multiplayer games.

oh k, some comments and bugs are from long time ago. I assume the mod is kinda complete already? seems like all mods for this game dates from 2013-2014. So im just trying to wash out which mods are fully finished and which ones are kinda abandoned or unfinished. So far im only ussing essensials and synergies and some custom class.

@Ged1s It's not supposed to act like the engineer's bot. Iirc, i gave the wisp lower mana cost or higher healing to compensate being targeted.

healing whisp is actually being targeted by mobs...i thought its suppose to act like enginners healing bot - not targetable....

This is amazing mate. A lot of thought went into this and it seems very well made. Glad to have it into one of my top 10 games ^^ And it's the best support class by far :P

Found a bug. Rank 10 of atonement shows the damage from rank 1 in the description. I'm not sure if the damage is actually less though, I don't know a way to test for atonement damage.

Hey DarkStar, just wanted to let you know I'm still playing and enjoying your class. I am currently running an elemental build where I focus on burning/shocking/freezing/poisoning the enemy to get that Atonement damage.

It seems like this could be a nice class, but LATER ON, a lot of other mod classes are great right out of the gate, then just get better. I am a patient player but I don't want to wait till level 20 or even 30 or 40 to be badass.

I know skills/spells level with you gain more charge as you go but for leveling you can see where that is a problem. One of the break out features of this class is there are VERY nice summoning spells, I particularly love the skill where you have a chance to summon a dps wisp upon any kill.... the problem arises with the damage, it seems like ONLY your base attack with your weapons will spawn one, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE change that, make it so ANY death with ANY attack has a chance. I also LOVE the horde ability with the infernal skeleton.

To me this class lacks power, a TON of the moves are debuffs/dots for enemies. The reason that is sort of a problem is that MOST finished classes are balanced not a shit ton of the same skills even if they do similar things. The other HUGE problem is there is VERY few spells that gain charge. I am lower level but with mods I have used a little over half the skills and almost none gain charge and none of the ones that do gain ENOUGH charge to be happy with the skill.

@nüx When you first get to the launcher screen, there will be a play button plus another icon on it. When you click on it, just checkmark all your mods you want to have in your game.

I'll be honest, Trepidation seems rather underwhelming to me. have you tested it at about 1.5x it's current power? because a skill that only gives a speed boost which is i believe at most 20%, and not even 20% to start with doesn't seem like much to me. perhaps have it start at 1.0% per charge and gain 0.5% per level, maxing out at 8% per charge, totalling to 32%?
ofcourse, i'm not saying this is NECESARY orso, i'm just suggesting it per advance, i'm open to hearing your reasoning for how it currently is or if you have anything else planned for it.

How did you get those faces on the last pic? Are they in this mod, a seperate mod, or did you customize a NPC?

Fixed. The issues were in other skills though. Not Trepidation itself.
I'll upload the newest version as soon as Steam allows me to since it looks like it won't upload the whole file right now.

On an unrelated note, I fixed a big issue with Benediction, but now the effects apply to the player even when only the pet is inside the circle. I don't really have an explaination for this so if someone has a hunch I'd be glad to hear it.

i am not sure if it is a glitch or anything relevant, but i noticed that Trepidation, the attack speed increasing passive, does give green text for "Requires a melee weapon equipped in right hand" while wielding a staff, but does not give any benefit to the staff. what i do notice, is, strangely enough, if i switch to a claw/sword/mace (tested with a sword), it does gain the advantage and when i switch back to the staff the staff does give the advantage until another attack speed modifier comes into effect (like benediction.)
Otherwise it's a very interesting class and i'm very thankful that you made it, it's great fun to play with a friend with this class!

Congratulations Darkstar because you made a very interesting class with a unique style. I presume that the class is balanced around the vanilla game ( it is something that i am fond of, i get bored of synergy mods.....).

I just started playing this class, and it really feels great, the skills are cool and all new but yet familiar (like the healing wisp). It's really comfortable to play this class, I started and find easy to see how to build it in a "classic" way, and also there is a lot of room for experimentation with the skills...

I don´t think so, symbbolic´s orthography is, in most parts correct, but if you risk a closer look, you discover a few of misspellings. And that bothersome spamming of "impressing" words, to bad that there are is just so little of varety in them. This encourages the assumption that he(icon appears to be male) is trying to articulate on a qualitatively superior level to his own intellectual capability. Maybe that is to compense some uncertainties or inabillities.
But for we have never met irl and do not know each other there is no way i could tell for sure.
Thus i refrain judging someone elses personality, peace ^.~

well i say grammatical, it's possible i'm just being excessively pedantic. the wording is what i'm focusing on. punch seems too informal a word (blows or strikes might sound better, punch is an equally vague term given the number of vastly different types).

grammatically you could word things a lot more succinctly, referencing the way vanilla skill and class descriptions are structured. there should be a uniform i think. the grammar is skills like Shade Armor, Crumble, From Body to Spirit... to be honest i just suggest going over the skill try and finding out if you can word things more effeciently. rearrange sentences, take away unnecessary words, that kind of thing. i suggest referencing the vanilla classes. copying that style would lend itself towards making this class fit into the game seamlessly.

Actually, it's really cool, but i would like to see the custom items a tad rarer, getting all these shiny robes in a darkish area THAT commonly is a bit annoying, also the art for the female icon bothers me xD This is amazing however!
