But why a workbench for each tier ? Wouldn't it be enough to simply unlock blueprints ?
And where are the produced backpacks stored ? I cannot find any dedicated storage...
I have the tech and the blueprints, but they don't show up on the benches as craftable.
Is it possible for me to change this?
To thank the mod creator go and find this mod above. His/her work is well needed for modding.
The name of the mod is this : Customized fcs def (This is not a mod)
The creator of the mod made a route what you need to do, basically just make a backup of the fcs.def under kenshi, and replace the def in the mod with the original fcs.def.
Then start up the fcs editor and you can now use more options on the editor. on the .... button add missing files on the secelted items and you will see the extra options.
Yes i realise that is a frustrating issue! Unfortunately backpack crafting is not fully implemented into the game like some of the other products so the only way i could find to add a time element was to require the "backpack parts" I don't really like it either but there does not seem to be any other way that I know of to change that; would welcome solutions if you or anyone else knows of one though!
As far as the multiple workbenches when i first made the mod it was the only way I could find to make the larger ones actually require more backpack parts...otherwise a large would use the same amount of material as a small...backpacks are not as fully incorporated as some of the other products so it's kinda a workaround...it's possible it's changed since then so I may take another look if I get some free time
@Tinneba I can certainly add backpack storage...once again life is pretty full for me right now but the next time I have some spare moments and brainpower I can add that in; thanks for the suggestion
and/or wooden backpack would be unlocked with research.. kinda hard to go get blueprints on a custom deadhive run where everyone hates you...
also imo, it would be more like the other workbenches (nice and compact) if it was one upgradable workbench instead of having one for every size..
Take your cats good man.
