Still working fine in 3.14, but still need that balance pass.

This works fine in 3.12, but it needs a balance pass. The perks are too expensive compared to the new perks added in the new Machine Age DLC. The price needs to be halved.

@disalign I have a mod that plays nicely with this one. It was built for machine empires, and gives a second tier to the synthetic age ascension. I have had some people who play synthetically evolved robots desire to use my mod. Right now, that functionality requires a second mod, like this, be used alongside mine. I had a request to add the functionality in directly. So, I am reaching out to you to see where you stand with this mod. Do you mind if I add the ability for synths to get the synthetic age ascension? Is this a mod you still support?

i wish this was in 2.7.2 I really wanted to do a whole machine empire making bio pops into actual machine pops of mine... Have to do the old way

I want to point out here that "Robot Modification Points" and "Machine Modification Points" are two different modifiers. As a result, Synthetically ascended empires who pick up the "Synthetic Age" perk don't actually receive the bonus modification points, because they are robots, and not machines.

Synthetically Ascended Empires are capable of getting synthetic age and all the traits. This isn't for balance, it's for filling in the blanks. Vanilla isn't balanced anyways.

The mod is fine, and I liked it, but you shouldn't have allowed the perk for Ascended organic empires. Because both other ascension paths have 2 perks, and the synthetic one with this mod has 3, and the third is quite strong. This breaks the balance and makes psionic and genetic paths complete garbage.

Problem is I have a machine empire and I don't see any blue traits, so I'm guessing I have a mod conflict,.

Pick the perk and change your robotic race's traits. These should be available if you remove all the other traits they have first.

Of course they can, Synthetic Age is originally an ascension perk for machine empires.

Oh, interesting. Hopefully even with Synth Evo Enhanced, it will allow synthetically evolved empires to pick up syntehtic age!

Nice idea for SA. And it seems this mod is compatible with Synthetic Evolution Enhanced, even they both mess with ap_synthetic_age.

The more I see, the more I don't want to see. That twisted hulk of flesh and metal, driven by the alien technology; can we still call that life?
We have to keep moving forward with the project, but the thought of treading the same path as the aliens is... troubling.
What if they were like us once? Are we just part of a continuing cycle? If this is a glimpse of our future, I want no part of it.
