95% of the time, a mod not working is caused by PEBKAC
i was looking for a mod that reduce the ridiculous extra space needed around each box/barrel , but this will do.
It works for storages from the base game itself - for all the ones listed in the description.
Doesn't work for any storages introduced by other mods.
@cuddly dork, @JoeTheezy thanks and I'm glad you like the mod :)
wouldnt hurt to be 200 ^^
I imported the game and stuff
Maybe you forgot one?
Yes, I am aware of the dynamics of some of the AI and how order can mess up the workers.
I am coming from a vanilla experience and recently subscribed to a handful of mods. I'm a little confused as to why storage amount can affect AI reasoning but all in all I decided to just play vanilla.
Not that this has anything to do with this particular mod, but:
If you're using "haul to" with an ore storage, are you aware that this sometimes interferes with the auto-hauling included in the "mine" behavior?
Characters assigned to mine a node will automatically carry the ore to ore storage once the node is full. No need to assign others to "haul to" to that storage. I remember assigning both has caused me problems in the past.
Off of the top of my head, these are the ones that come to mind:
Storage: Ration Packs
Storage: Large Ration Packs
Storage: Leather
Storage: Food Cubes
As indicated on the https://kenshi.fandom.com/wiki/Rum_Barrels the vanilla value of rum barrel stack is 25. This mod doubles that to 50.
If you have any mod that increased these values to 250 and you'd like to keep that, you need to make sure that other mod is below Storage Amount Doubled in the modlist.
Have a great day and may your rum production be profitable and smooth! :>
Changing stack velue in "Storage: Electricals" to 100 would consitute a rename (cause it would not longer be storage amount doubled, but some doubled, other quadrupled, and no storage below 100) and doing that to this existing mod would cause a loss of it's focus and simplicity, it's main advantages really.
Losing that simplicity and focus is not really something I'm excited about.
I think "Storage Amount Doubled" should stay just that - doubled the vanilla stack amount values and nothing more.
Regarding the issue of that particular box:
Electrical storage box is pretty small really, in comparison to many others, it's not a problem to put down two of them if you really need to store 100 electrical components.
Thanks for your input guys.
I also have to agree with @agris that electricals should be at 100 but i understand if you feel that goes against the nature of your mod
You might have a look here to see if you've missed any others: https://kenshi.fandom.com/wiki/Category:Storage
Thanks for the mod! I noticed that fabric storage isn't doubled though, it's still 50.
