Is the mod safe to use now with the latest patch?
Ninaran 12 jan om 15:41
Been a while since the last update and I noticed talks about bugs in the comments. Is the mod safe to use now with the latest patch?
SpiralRazor 4 feb 2022 om 12:15
were these bugs ever fixed in a new version?
2house2fly  [auteur] 26 apr 2020 om 16:57
I've just recently noticed the same thing- haven't done a full playthru with this mod before and never noticed that bug when I was testing. I'll pore over that item's data to see what's causing it!
Lemon 24 apr 2020 om 20:27
Yep. I've confirmed that this bug happens consistently while wearing the Rogue Traveler's Secret Journal.
Lemon 24 apr 2020 om 20:09
I've run into a bug.
Enemies will never target my character and I cannot be harmed by anything
I mean, one way to trivialise combat, but who wants that xD
I realised after multiple times by crew gets wiped, and combat ends, enemies return to their positions. Yet I'm still standing, hitting away at them. I don't trigger combat, or take damage from AoEs But I can still hurt them.

I don't know if this is related to this mod, but I've googled around for a while and didn't find any mention of similar issues so I'm putting this on of the mods I got in case they're partly to blame.

(If it's relevant, I had the trinket that makes you invisible when getting critted by a proficient weapon equipped when this started)

Thanks, but looks like it works only with the english version of the game, found a pipe without any readable effect
2house2fly  [auteur] 29 jan 2020 om 6:27
They are not! You can use any mod you want as far as I know with no impact on cheevos. Fair warning: this mod seems to have some trouble activating if installed via steam. If you install it and don't see any trinkets in the seaside cave in the opening area, try installing it via the nexus instead
Cursed Life 27 jan 2020 om 20:22
If i use a mod like this achievments are disabled?
2house2fly  [auteur] 29 sep 2019 om 13:54
Just go to https://www.nexusmods.com/pillarsofeternity2/mods/271 and click the tab that says Files, then select Manual Download, and open the file that opens. You'll see a folder that says "override" just move that to Pillars of Eternity II\PillarsOfEternityII_Data and you're good to go. Open the Mod Manager in the game's option menu to turn the mod on or off

How to use the nexus version?
The Grocer Of Despair 7 sep 2019 om 9:30
Can confirm, this version doesn't show up in new games, but the version on Nexus does.
Freckled Banana 17 aug 2019 om 14:32
yea doesnt work. Too bad, seemed like it could've been a great mod.
2house2fly  [auteur] 12 aug 2019 om 19:50
I'm afraid I'm not sure what's causing them not to show up. In testing, if I already have trinkets with the steam mod it keeps them, but they don't show up in a new save. Maybe try the nexus version instead: https://www.nexusmods.com/pillarsofeternity2/mods/271

Consensus? Is this working or no? Just a load order issue for those whom it's not? Finally getting into PoD2, and want to make my first run awesome.
hotsauce 20 jul 2019 om 18:07
doesnt work for me either
specopsbarton 16 jun 2019 om 6:21
@mojave_wastelander For me this mod don't even work so.
mojave_wastelander 16 jun 2019 om 2:08
I think making all these items trinkets make it harder choice for wizards as they occupy grimoire slot, even worse once equipped they can't be switched to a grimoire as they can't be put into a quick slot.
Another issue is that even if equipped when travelling or reloading a game their effects are often removed and it's needed to re-equip the items to get the buff.
specopsbarton 14 jun 2019 om 0:22
I was in neketaka in that shop but that guy have only vanilla items for sale :(
specopsbarton 13 jun 2019 om 11:54
Unfortunately, this mod not works for me. Someone can help?
Incorporeal 12 jun 2019 om 23:17
Cool! Seems I'm finally finding stuff in chests, guess there was some load order issues going on.
2house2fly  [auteur] 12 jun 2019 om 17:04
That's a ton easier, here's some:

Repulsive Brew
Thorn In The Side
Tongue Of Greatvoice
Brain Food
Sympathetic Barbs
Primal Ice
Flash Memory
Carapace
Epistles Of The Templar
Aegis Of Anchoring
Model Ship
Lucky Coins
Machine Oil
Fragrant Lure
Potent Spores
Animancer's Timepiece
Dummy Sword Hilt
Charged Copper Coil
Incorporeal 11 jun 2019 om 15:36
What about the in-game names for the items? Rather than the file names? The Unity Console mod allows you to look up and add items to your stash and lists them by their normal names.
Hungry Lion 8 jun 2019 om 14:56
Yeah I haven't found any trinkets myself.
2house2fly  [auteur] 6 jun 2019 om 6:19
Damn I've forgotten a ton of the item names now- how did that happen when I spent months typing them into the console myself! Try these off the top of my head:

trinketice
trinketbarbs
trinketcoin
trinketwire
trinketwatch
trinketcgrimoire
Incorporeal 5 jun 2019 om 15:51
So this is the last thing in my load order (as in it should be overwriting anything else), but I've still yet to see a single one of these trinkets. Think I could maybe get a list of the item names so I can check with the Unity Console to see if they're even in the game?

The Rogue Traveler's Secret Journal prevents the character wearing it from receiving Paladin auras
2house2fly  [auteur] 30 mrt 2019 om 19:30
On tutorial island there should have been at least one in the cave at the beach and one at the Engwithan digsite.
They don't go in the "weapons" or "clothing" categories in the stash, which may be counterintuitiuve- look in Consumables and Other for items highlighted blue, or just search your stash for "trinket" and all items of that type will show. Also look for grimoires that have normal book icons.

Most likely you know all that and the mod is messed up somehow. That may happen if you load the game from the exe rather than the steam icon, in which case downloading the nexus version of this mod should work. It may also be a load order thing, which seems to happen sometimes. Try putting this mod right at the bottom of your load order, then pop over to tutorial island and have a look in the cave at Villario's Rest to see if any containers have been newly trinketed. The Wild Mare should have one hidden on the left hand side of the first floor, if you want to stick around in Neketaka
BoomCumShot 30 mrt 2019 om 6:21
Currently just got to neketaka and havent seen a trinket yet. I am still too early in the game to get one? Just wanted to make sure this mod was working correctly.
Last of the Romans 10 feb 2019 om 20:53
It 100% has to be a load order issue, but I'm also 100% not a programmer and totally bsing
BlackVulcan  17 jan 2019 om 3:02
@2house2fly @Bionerd
I think Bionerd's correct. I just noticed that one of the mods I added on steam wasn't working when I ran POE2 from the folder (which I used to do when steam would take LITERALLY FOREVER uploading my saves).

Apparently, the mods I install on steam won't work with this. I think I'll just unsubscribe from this on steam and use the nexus version with the override folder in the game folder. Thanks Bionerd!! and sorry for wasting your time thinking of a bug that was just my fault for being impatient 2house2fly!! Thanks!
2house2fly  [auteur] 13 jan 2019 om 6:36
I've no idea what could be causing that. Maybe a load order thing? The script for adding items seems to interact with load orders in some weird way- I made a mod to add some pets to the intro area and even though the mod consisted solely of three scripts it didn't work until I put it lower in the load order. So maybe try putting this mod at the bottom of the load order and see if that helps?
Bionerd 13 jan 2019 om 5:48
@BlackVulcan: That sounds like you ran the game without this mod after you looted those. I've done that with other mods that added items to the game and permanently lost the gear new to that mod (well, in the save file I ran without it - if you have an earlier save that you didn't load without it you can load that with the mod and it should still have the gear).
BlackVulcan  8 jan 2019 om 9:37
that's odd, I've tried looking at those containers in one of my save files but I'm not finding anything.

it was working at first, but when I loaded a file they all suddenly disappeared from my inventory and the containers where I found them were all empty

any idea how I can fix it? and if I am able to get the mod working again, will the items just be added back to those 50 or so containers?
2house2fly  [auteur] 7 jan 2019 om 10:44
All the items are collected in a lootlist, and I've selected roughly fifty containers in the game which will have one random item from that lootlist placed in them
BlackVulcan  7 jan 2019 om 9:27
are they randomly scattered? or they're in set locations?
ruttiger24 5 jan 2019 om 12:08
Thanks for your work on this! Mods like these keep adding to the lifespan and depth of the game.
mojave_wastelander 2 jan 2019 om 0:40
So, while the game certainly needs more specialized trinkets and soulbound weapons they need to be balanced, specifically for POTD as in this game is very easy to min-max. Also I'm not so sure about all being random loot, e.g. I don't use chanters, druids, monks and other classed in my party but all the items I would find are for these classes so they are useless for my playthrough or I'm unlucky and I don't get any new items.
mojave_wastelander 2 jan 2019 om 0:40
I wanted to see how balanced the items are, because even with vanilla is easy to be OP on POTD. Immunities are OP for sure especially for something like "aegis of anchoring", any item that has a skill multiplier should have a very small gain to give a small edge or a small initial value and a smaller multiplier.
"Potent" misc items are OP, a priest with 10INT can keep whole party buffed all the time and PER is easily countered by priest buffs, any ranged character like Maia (that is already an OP character in vanilla) with 10DEX will transform into a machine gunner and RES is not an important stat for a ranged character.
2house2fly  [auteur] 30 dec 2018 om 18:27
SPOILER ALERT! A list of the items and what they do: https://i.imgur.com/yczppMI.png
2house2fly  [auteur] 30 dec 2018 om 15:20
For sure! I didn't include one by default because I prefer "mystique" myself (I don't like it to be too obvious that a modded-in thing is modded in) but I can make up a list and post it for anyone curious
mojave_wastelander 30 dec 2018 om 12:40
Can you add a list of added trinkets and their stats?
