Trinkets

Description
The usable but empty trinket slot always bugged me when the game was released, and the DLCs introducing trinket items for those slots was cool but the DLC are all endgame-level. I want trinkets right from the start! So I made some.

These are non-unique items that you have a random chance of finding as loot. There's at least one exclusive trinket for each class, as well as some whose effects scale with skills, and some that are just for fun, and I've spread them all through the game. Perfect for a new playthrough!

UPDATE: I've added the trinkets from the "paper trinkets" mod on the Nexus to this one, as the author of that mod isn't around any more. If he returns I'll remove them again, but I want to have them around because that mod doesn't work as-is nowadays, and it was an inspiration for this one. I've also added some unique items and put them mostly around Neketaka, because it bugged me when the game released that it could take a long time to get decked out with enchanted accessories.

Is the mod safe to use now with the latest patch?

Been a while since the last update and I noticed talks about bugs in the comments. Is the mod safe to use now with the latest patch?

I've just recently noticed the same thing- haven't done a full playthru with this mod before and never noticed that bug when I was testing. I'll pore over that item's data to see what's causing it!

Yep. I've confirmed that this bug happens consistently while wearing the Rogue Traveler's Secret Journal.

I've run into a bug.
Enemies will never target my character and I cannot be harmed by anything
I mean, one way to trivialise combat, but who wants that xD
I realised after multiple times by crew gets wiped, and combat ends, enemies return to their positions. Yet I'm still standing, hitting away at them. I don't trigger combat, or take damage from AoEs But I can still hurt them.

I don't know if this is related to this mod, but I've googled around for a while and didn't find any mention of similar issues so I'm putting this on of the mods I got in case they're partly to blame.

(If it's relevant, I had the trinket that makes you invisible when getting critted by a proficient weapon equipped when this started)

Thanks, but looks like it works only with the english version of the game, found a pipe without any readable effect

They are not! You can use any mod you want as far as I know with no impact on cheevos. Fair warning: this mod seems to have some trouble activating if installed via steam. If you install it and don't see any trinkets in the seaside cave in the opening area, try installing it via the nexus instead

Just go to https://www.nexusmods.com/pillarsofeternity2/mods/271 and click the tab that says Files, then select Manual Download, and open the file that opens. You'll see a folder that says "override" just move that to Pillars of Eternity II\PillarsOfEternityII_Data and you're good to go. Open the Mod Manager in the game's option menu to turn the mod on or off
