Hey I have subscribed to your channel I am new to pc gaming and am experiencing the quick reflex bug a lot could you help me through the fix if thats okay?

I uploaded this almost 4 years ago, and I don't mod or even play Skyrim anymore. If you are having problems with this mod try searching for a different solution on Nexus. However, if I load Skyrim with only the official DLC, unofficial patches, and this mod, the bug is fixed still.

This bug fix doesn't work at all, I'm sorry to say. However, Quick Reflexes has finally been fixed on the Nexus:

lol, I don't know what to say to ppl that have problems with this. I had a save in front of mamoths and could replicate bug 100/100 tries, Fixing it was as simple as clicking subscribe to this, tried replicate bug 3 times, don't need to test any more, thanks for the fix xD

Hope this works, got a save ready and can make it happen 100% of the time right now xD

If for some reason it's stopped working for you or it never worked in the first place, this command should do the trick: player.dispel d8c31
POOP BOY Nov 16, 2014 @ 9:06pm
Thank you! Was stuck with a save right before fight where this glitch happened 100% of the time, and this seems to have done the trick! Have you thought about uploading this to Nexus? I couldn't find anything like this over there and a lot of people who don't like to use to use Steam to mod Skyrim would probably love to have this.
sasha Nov 16, 2014 @ 5:06am
Hmm doesn't work for me..

Thank you so much! This is why I will never play skyrim on the Xbox.. I would have been stuck with a gamekilling bug. Once more, I can't thank you enough for making this game enjoyable agian.

I use Realistic Timescale 1.1 and it causes the quick relfexes bug consistantly 100% of the time if you take this perk. This mod fixes it (also seemingly 100% fix) If you put this mod BELOW the realistic timescale mod on the load order, but does nothing if it is above it.

I have no idea about the people who get this glitch without using any timescale mods, or those who simply use the console to alter timescale, I imagine the vanilla glitch is somthing to do with time moving differently indoors and out?

The slow motion does not last a consistant 1.5 seconds however, it ranges from 1-3, but since installing this and putting it below my timescale mod I have not seen excessive slow moton from this perk.
I hope this information from my experience helps some people out.

Doesn't work for the following reason; the author changed the variable entry point for the time slow, that defines if the effect should happen or not, instead of adding a fixed time duration. Were he to attempt to add a half or a two+ seconds duration with his method, he would have broken the perk entirely.
WeylandYutani Jun 6, 2013 @ 9:02pm
Can you do this only for quick reflexes and blocking not with the rest of the fixes because patches fixed that and starts to conflict so i cant use it
SuperbJenks May 27, 2013 @ 5:54pm
It was working for me the first day or so. I noticed it going back to being "glitched" when I purchased and installed the Dragonborn & Dawnguard DLC. Could just be a coincidence though...

This is just not working as it is intended. The bug is still occurring.
barque Dec 14, 2012 @ 1:57pm
EXCUSE ME HOW THE FUCK DO YOU DOWNLOAD THIS MOD?
Thanks for the info.
FarmBoy83 Nov 16, 2012 @ 2:07am
Agreed this should have way more stars. I guess tanking isn't for everyone lol.

Yesterday, with this mod installed, I had numerous occurrences of the bug .. whereby, the Quick Reflexes slow-time animation continued long enough for me to wipe out 3 or 4 opponents with a single activation of the effect. I posted a critical review and downvoted the mod. Today, however, it seems to be working perfectly, so I've removed the negative review and the downvote. There is definitely an issue ... but it may not be with the mod, since two separate Skyrim instances are involved, one showing a persistent problem and one with no problem at all. Also, my Block skill improved from 49 to 54 between the two tests .. I don't know enough about modding to know if that's relevant. The mod is good, though, whether or not there's an issue with it. So get it.

memitim901  [author] Mar 13, 2012 @ 6:20pm
@quickfox, I noticed that the variable was set to 1.00 and in their programming language, that is used to sometimes denote "on." So I assumed that when the variables checked out it just turned the slowdown on. I changed it to a 1.5 for 1.5 seconds of slowdown and it seemed to get rid of the slowdown being turned on but waiting for combat to end in order for it to turn off.
hoohaa2 Mar 13, 2012 @ 4:30pm
good catch with the shield wall displays. I missed that.
Teh-Husky Mar 13, 2012 @ 3:28pm
What exactly did you change to fix this bug? I had noticed that some blocks gave more slowdown than others, but never a 5-min slowdown except when I had modified the "set timescale to" variable.
Irongamer Mar 13, 2012 @ 2:41am
w00t ty for making this mod :D
i blocked an attack from a forsworn then i was going slow for 5 minutes XD
