@princess69420 Can you tell me what mods you are using and maybe i can help.

I keep on getting SHIPDESIGNER SAVEFAIL MISSING REQUIRED COMPONENTS error every time I try to save my designs. What's wrong?

I thought this mod was only supposed to affect civilian ships, not stations. When running this mod stations have 2 more modules (bottom section) and baseline outposts start with slots available. Now, normally I wouldn't complain about something like that, except the sector AI somehow has permission to fill these slots with whatever it wants, so when I go to build a fleet, all of a sudden my single, 6-shipyard station shows nothing in que and then months or years later the fleet appears at some random outpost in my territory because the AI built a shipyard there and that just happens to be where the first few ships of the fleet spawned... annoying AF

TLDR: Please either prevent the AI from building anything in starbases OR just ditch the station stuff altogether. The title gives the impression that this is a ships-only mod anyway. I was thrown for a loop trying to figure out which mod was changing my stations.

@Karancynicism Sorry that is beyond my modding capabilities. Maybe you could ask Paradox to add that as a feature. I seem to remember being able to do that back when the game launched. Just like what this mod does;)

is there any way you could make a mod to allow any ship to merge into any fleet? that would be nice to go with this mod and give a good escort for the invasion troops.
wooley2000  [author] Dec 21, 2018 @ 9:45pm
@Karancynicism No it doesnt, but it does make them useful at defending themselves;) I used them once to finish off a battle with a enemy fleet.
Kirinica Dec 21, 2018 @ 6:40pm
does this allow me to merge transports into war fleets?

@Galactic This mod changes the vanilla civilian ships so they have weapon slots.

Sorry if this has been asked already, can't seem to find it, or im just blind, but what mod are you using for the ships? I dont think those are vanilla, yet again I have never used a couple ship designs.

Update Incoming;)
RobotWaifuForU Dec 14, 2018 @ 7:27am
Simple way: doing colony ships like in vanilla :P
wooley2000  [author] Dec 14, 2018 @ 6:05am
@Evil1Russian LOL sorry, I am working on a fix now, I think im going to revert to vanilla costs and hopefully the AI is not to stupid now to build stuff.

>rummaged through a bunch of mods in order to understand which mod does not allow AI to colonize
wooley2000  [author] Dec 13, 2018 @ 10:45pm
@pio_thomsek I tried playing myself and it seems you are right. I think it has something to do with the new resources and it being too expensive to build these ships now. I will try to find a solution and fix it;)
pio_thomsek Dec 13, 2018 @ 9:46am
I´m not sure if this is a mod conflict but AI empires did not expand. They built Science ships and explored and built construction ships but let those sit around after claiming a handful of systems. No colonization at all. Is this a known issue? Love the concept tho

@Evil1Russian Your Welcome;)
