does this work to make elder scrolls?

Hey everyone, I've messed around with these Magic Tools Redone mods, and this mod ONLY contains the craftable scrolls, and nothing else. And this is the ONLY MTR mod with the craftable scrolls.

Just thought everyone should know, save somebody else the headache I had.

It would be nice if it was an enchanting table but it looks like a good mod

@The Master of Bored I agree that would be really cool, but unfortunately I have kind of stopped modding, and cannot change that. Perhaps someone else can add that, but unfortunately I do not have the time anymore. Sorry :(

Hey, this is just a thought but do you think you could make a special place to craft this, like not in a forge that is well FIRE as in it would acutally burn the paper??? just a thought, i woud love to add this but i woudl think it woud be cool to have a special crafting sation for this

Try placing this mod at the bottom/the last mod in your load order, let me know if that works!

I've subscribed and downloaded your mod and found that it isn't working. Is there a specific place in the load order where i may have to place this mod? I confess I have a few mods that add more spells, some in scroll form. Could this also be a source of trouble as to why the mod isn't working?

@Voldebutt That sounds really cool, but unfortunately that would require scripting, and I for one cannot script :P However, that is a really good idea, but I would ask someone who has made similar mods. Sorry :/

id like to make a suggestion, make a mod that makes it so your magic skills level up as you use scrolls and staves, because i cannot find a single mod that does this, i had an idea where i made a character that cant learn magic, so he resorts to using scrolls and staves, only problem with this is that you cant level up doing this, and i think its a shame because its another way of playing a mage, just a suggestion :P

@Ravol_Clan I like both of those ideas, but unfortunately I dont know how to do either of them :P

@icanisbeme their are two ways to fix that, you can A: add a new crafting section to enchanting table but it might be alot of bugs needed to fix along with it. B: make a new crafting station, you'd need to place it in the world and might be a little harder to make but less bugged.

I think you should have made it an Enchanting thing instead of a Smithing thing you know? It just makes more sense like that. I don't know but it's a cool idea anyway Author.

my misc section for smithing is flooded with stuff can you make a seperate category for the scrolls to reduce flooding

@exodeam Thanks! Just fyi, this mod is included in another mod i made called "Magic tools redone", and in that mod there are craftable staves and spell tomes too

Forges aren't obselete for battlemages, if magica runs out, then kill the remaining bastards with mundane/enchanted weaponry! :D

I thought about that, but I decided that I wanted a mage to have at least some use for a forge. Before this mod, all blacksmiths were obselete to mages.

Just a friendly suggestion. It seems a little odd that you craft PAPER items at a forge. Perhaps it would be possible to integrate it into the enchanter's table instead?

Subscribed, because it can't hurt to try something new and interesting.
