It's really not a hard concept to grasp that Ireland is not British and that calling it British is extremely ignorant, insulting and outright wrong. People have literally died to earn the right of Ireland not to be called British.

I'm lucky enough to be a traveled man. I've been in most European countries. All of the UK + Ireland as well. They are very different countries but its clear they have a common starting point. That's all.

Didn't mean to get Brenno triggered, but I really don't see any better name to call the database. Otherwise, if I follow my plans for FM20, I'll have to make the Irish, Northern Irish, English, Scottish and Welsh DB. And may God have mercy on my soul if I start to add any more countries (I know only Ireland is Independent in this example but you get my point)

@phipps.sam1989 I understand the point, but its a pure geographical situation. I know there's tension (or a fierce rivaly) since Ireland got their independence and the Northern ireland situation doesn't help either. But it's just a database FFS.

On FM18 I made a database uniting Portugal with Spain (that invaded us several times since the 1200's, robbing our independence several times) and France (whicjh invaded us several times in the 1800's). No one opposed the name I gave that database or even the concept of it.

I known Ireland's history is one of suffering and misery and hunger up untill the point of their independence, but this game (nor this database fot that matter) adresses that in no way, shape or form.

Brenno has a point though. They are not part of the United Kingdoms. They dont even use the Pound Sterling. They use the Euro. But anyway The concept is still a nice one.

As an Irish person I'm telling you we are not in any way whatsoever British. And if you called any Irish person British to their face you'd be lucky to keep any of your teeth, even if you say "You're in the British Isles (a term our Government does not recognise) though". Literal wars have been faught so Irish people aren't called British.

But if the British Isles, by definition includes Ireland, regardless of nations... That does not sound ignorant on my part. Since it includes the island of Ireland and Great Britain

@Brenno98 indeed, as the British Leagues covers the British Isles, which include Ireland. If you just wanted Great Britain Teams, find a db about GB Leagues

Quite like this one... but I;m not sure why you needed to change it to a country with barely any European qualification places... and why no Liverpool????

Theres no way to manage in this league as you cant select any of the required leagues
