only issue i found to be annoying is that npcs who arent a part of the warehouse like to use it to cut accross skyrim... i love this mod. but i really wish that there was a way to get esbern and others to stop using the darn warehouse as a way to cut corners

Is this Mod still being worked on? Does it have multiple childen beds (like 6 or so) for the Adoption system in Hearthfire? Can you make this into a Player Home through the Marriage option and have your wife go there and set up and the kids go here?
PowerHouse Nov 21, 2016 @ 5:46pm
I'm pretty sure this is one of the most amazing mods I've seen.

Anybody have a map that shows the floor plan of the bedroom and the warehouse. When I look at local map, it's just of the room I'm in.
sgtklink Oct 16, 2016 @ 7:05pm
@emmaculbert25 There are a few good mods on the Nexus that allow spouses and adopted children to live anywhere.
BonBOn Oct 16, 2016 @ 12:52pm
i can't get my kids to move into the place. can they?
Chokehold  [author] Sep 27, 2016 @ 8:44am
I get a little confused as to what is in each version. I wasn't sure the door to High Hrothgar was even in this one. There is a key for you to find at High Hrothgar to force you to walk there first. It's part of the game. Other than the player houses, the restof the doors should be unlocked. I didn't think about it with the other doors or I probably would have done the same for each of them as I did for HH. I originally thought of the mod as something a player would use after they finished most of the game.
Mašl'ak Sep 26, 2016 @ 10:53pm
Why is high hrothgar and other places in the room with doors locked? I know the homes are that I don't own. I thought maybe I had to travel to these places first but after discovering them, the doors are still locked? why make a room of doors if you can't use any of them?
Chokehold  [author] Jul 31, 2016 @ 4:53pm
Yes, that is correct. You will need to find one of the hidden doors and pick the lock to get in. :)
theozian1 Jul 30, 2016 @ 4:55am
So after reading the comments. The key for the room that is authorized personel only is inside said room?
Chokehold  [author] Jul 14, 2016 @ 5:36am
I don't think so. I've never heard of it before.
Supdalat Jul 13, 2016 @ 9:34pm
All of my guards sneak everywhere, is that normal?
Chokehold  [author] Jul 8, 2016 @ 7:24am
The key to that room is actually inside the room you are trying to get into. Some of the doors are hidden and those can be picked. Once you are in, the key in in a lockbox on the floor with a bunch of lockpicks and some gold for your trouble. Then you have the key to open the rest of the doors.
sgtklink Jul 1, 2016 @ 5:08am
I downloaded this off the Nexus. Just curious, but where's the key for the lower level gallery of doors leading to other parts of the place? Just curious

Restart your game. They should work. Nothing has been changed. Sometimes it helps to go in and out of an area several times to get the scripts to work. These racks use the game scripts, which are shared between all of the weapon racks in the game. If another mod has changed the scripts, that could cause your problem.
Crimson Knight Jan 18, 2016 @ 11:53pm
ran into new issue i uninstalled this mod and reinstalled it now all weapon wracks in game are broken. i can activate them but my weapons dissapear.
Crimson Knight Jan 18, 2016 @ 9:12pm
why dont you make us king of this area so guards dont attack us.
ronr42 Sep 27, 2015 @ 5:47am
@ejr7686; That is a common problem with mannequins in Skyrim when a mod adds a large number of them. Here's a nexus mod that Helps to fix it; http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/10652/?
ejr7686 Sep 26, 2015 @ 9:28pm
Great job with the players home but how do you stop the mannequins to stay in the spots they keep moving to the middle of the hallways?
⎛⎝Duckers McQuack⎠⎞ Aug 24, 2015 @ 2:24am
It's a bloody maze! Impossible to find the room i'm looking for!
honeyblnd Aug 18, 2015 @ 12:20pm
Chokehold - FYI I finally figured out the issue with everything disappearing - I had unsubscribed to the Steam version and downloaded the Nexus one but there were some straggling 'esn'? labeled 'warehouse'. I got rid of those and...voila...all is right with the world! :steamhappy:
Footman Connaisseur Aug 10, 2015 @ 5:21pm
im excited to test this out good job ^^
honeyblnd Aug 10, 2015 @ 7:36am
That could be it - I'll see what happens if I get rid of one or two of the most recent ones. Silly me that I hadn't consididered that probablity. Perhaps there is hope. I may yet have some cause willing me to live. :steamhappy:
Chokehold  [author] Aug 10, 2015 @ 7:31am
I'm puzzled though. It might be a conflict with another mod.
Chokehold  [author] Aug 10, 2015 @ 7:30am
Yes! Clearly an Imperial conspiracy!
honeyblnd Aug 10, 2015 @ 7:15am
Thanks. However, yesterday, I unsubscribed then found it on Nexux and downloaded it on the NMM, started a new game even and, when I put weapons, armor and 'stuff' in appropriate places, left the Dovahkiin Bedroom and Warehouse, did a quest or two and came back ... it was all gone. I'm so sad about this. I think I've been using this wonderful mod since you first published it. It's been a mainstay for me. I guess it's some type of system rebellion somewhere inside my system. It's probably those damn Imperials! Talos guide you
Chokehold  [author] Aug 10, 2015 @ 7:04am
There is a link to the Nexus version of the mod in the description above. There is a patch file for Hearthfire that adds the doors to the Hearthfire houses into the Nexus version.
Chokehold  [author] Aug 10, 2015 @ 7:01am
I would have to guess from your description, but Skyrim can be set to autosave when you go through a door or fast travel. Once it saves with the stuff gone, you will have to go back to an earlier save to get it back. As to why it was gone in the first place - your guess is as good as mine. There are lots of variables.
honeyblnd Aug 9, 2015 @ 11:20am
Also, a search for this mod yielded no results from Nexus. Yes, I checked my spelling and using only 'Dovahkiin' as a search word - I did get three results but none of them this mod. I may cry real tears...
:steamfacepalm:
honeyblnd Aug 9, 2015 @ 11:16am
Every item I have place in the warehouse and bedroom has disappeared! I have gone in and out, shut down skyrim and reopened it, shut down my computer and none of these actions has helped. Any solutions? This is the first time this has occurred and stayed this way. I have had things disappear before but one of the above solutions has always corrected it. Do I need to unsubscribe and then subscribe again?
MarktheCrawler Jul 26, 2015 @ 7:59pm
this mod is giant! easily the largest I've ever installed. Love it!
boredpixelcat Jun 27, 2015 @ 1:36am
children bedrooms dont matter that much :3
Chokehold  [author] Jun 9, 2015 @ 4:41am
It's not so much that I am ignoring any requests, it's a matter of time. I've been working on the next update to the Nexus version of the mod for over a year now and just haven't had the time to finish it. Sometimes real life just gets in the way. I hope to get back to it sometime soon.
bluecoougar Jun 8, 2015 @ 7:37pm
@Chokehold -- Since Hearthfire is required Please add some bedrooms for Children Say 6 as that is how many I have adopted. With out children's bedrooms I will have to unsubscribe and Dislike Others have asked for bedrooms and you choose to ignored the requests. Some of the space on the Second Floor of the Bedroom could be use for the Children's bedrooms There appears to be way too many Bookshelves for the number of books in Skyrim. Thanks other than children's bedroom it's a great Mod.

Ive come across some dovakiin guards that attack me , and since i cant kill them they become a huge pain , anything wrong on my end?
ashblackstar Mar 18, 2015 @ 1:25pm
It's impressive, but honestly, it's just to damned big. I got lost for damn near an hour, trying to find my way around, and out of it.
Chokehold  [author] Mar 8, 2015 @ 8:45am
Gertrude - sorry about the chronic disease. I hope my response didn't seem snippy. It certainly wasn't my intention. I recognize how difficult the place can be to navigate and I was just trying to pass on some tips that seem to work. It's sort of like a huge shopping mall without any maps. That's why I tried to mark the interior directions with shields and banners that might help people find their way. Actually, the place was built mostly as therapy for my own medical issues. I hope you feel better soon.
gertrudeschmidt Mar 8, 2015 @ 5:21am
Chokehold, thanks for the response. With such a successful mod as this, I am sure the trouble is my own. I have a hard time analyzing data ever since I contracted a chronic disease. I hear wonderful things about your work. Congratulations on a successful mod and I will just keep trying. Thanks!
Chokehold  [author] Mar 7, 2015 @ 7:15pm
It's like a quest. Finding of the hidden doors whose locks can be picked. Successfully pick the lock and the key is inside.
Snille Gode Kristiangutt Mar 5, 2015 @ 12:09pm
Where is the KEY?
it does not say in the description above where to get the key that is needed to some doors
Chokehold  [author] Feb 7, 2015 @ 4:32pm
The buildings and all of the underground structures are as close to architecturally correct as I could make the under the constraints inherrent to Skyrim. Take the time to stand outside on the patio once and figure out how everything faces on the compass. Then pay closer attention to the names of the stairwells, NE, SE, NW, SW, etc. and to the shields and banners placed over the doors and in the stairwells that correspond to the cities in Skyrim. Those will remind you of the directions you are headed. I assure you it's not just random. The structures are broken up into cells because the whole place is too large to load and run all at one time for most computers.
gertrudeschmidt Feb 5, 2015 @ 2:34pm
This is an incredible mod, with everything you'll need. However, I found the layout of the two buildings to be so confusing that I could barely even find the exit. I wasn't able to get a good overall view of how the buildings worked since they are divided into many sections, each with its own map. In addition to that, there are even more stairwells, each with their own name and seemingly independent direction. I wish I could get past the logistics.
Lord Dragon Dec 31, 2014 @ 11:13pm
i love the mod, first of all...but i dont understand it. i mean, its just...THERE. i was hoping to be able to build it or get it through a quest or something, but its just there...not that thats a bad thing. what i dont understand is, when you put the mod in, does it belong to you until you remove the mod, or is there something im missing. im really not used to this part of mods. despite that, its a beautiful place.
DrNal Dec 15, 2014 @ 5:44pm
could you add an extra room for kids
Chokehold  [author] Nov 22, 2014 @ 9:11pm
Well Fuzzy, I'm not sure what you mean by that, but I'm probably not going to do it. About the only thing like that I know of is Heartfire and that is incredibly complex. And it's not really customizable. You just have several choices you can make while building the houses.

The real problem is I just don't have much time to put into it these days. Once I do have some time, I have a huge list of things to do to this version before I can take on anything new. And there are two other versions I have to deal with as well.

But thanks for the suggestions. I appreciate knowing what you are looking for. I hope you are having fun with it.
Fuzzy Nov 22, 2014 @ 7:22am
could you add a room that players can customize?
Fuzzy Nov 22, 2014 @ 7:22am
i got in i found the door that could be picked
Chokehold  [author] Nov 21, 2014 @ 6:27pm
Hey Ron! Long time no see. As best I recall, I think all the doors into the Armory Transport Room are locked but some of them (the hidden ones) can be picked if you can find them. There is a chest inside with some gold and lockpicks to make up for what you use up getting in, Good luck!
ronr42 Nov 18, 2014 @ 6:29am
@fuzzy; The way into the Armory Transport room is by way of a OOOOOO>>>>Secret Passageway. Once inside there is a strong box with a key to unlock the doors from the inside. Then you can use the transport room to get around the W&B faster. Here's a clue; Run down, run fast, do not stop and you will pass through to the transport room.

More loot? Did you find the OOOOOO>>>secret room with 2 million gold and a ton of jewels in it? Hint; Your office oversees it.
Fuzzy Nov 17, 2014 @ 6:09pm
I think that it is missing something that should be added here is a list of what I think would make it better

Secret Passageways

More loot

Maybe a room that the player can design to what they want

But this house is already amazing and I love it. I know that you have worked for a very long time and that work has DEFINITELY paid off. But I have been looking for a way into the ARMORY TRANSPORT AUTHORIZED PERSONNEL ONLY room and I can't pick the lock. Can you give me any tips?
Fuzzy Nov 17, 2014 @ 4:40pm
Can we move our wife and kids into it?
