I just got this mod so I could make a hammer and sickle on my weapon rack.

Freezes everytime

the Khopesh/Arakh was a weapon built for dual purposes, it has great slashing and piercing properties depending on which way you face it, however the picture used to show it in use doesnt do you case well as it shows it used as a sickle (originally the design of the sword was to reach around shields FYI) ^_^

im pretty sure the sword is double sided because in the tv show they use one to spill a mans guts which was a technique often done by the weilders of swords of the sickle fashion

The arakh is not supposed to be held like a sickle. The arakh is based off the real world Egyptian Khopesh, and is faced correctly in this mod.

I love the mod, if only the grip would be alittle longer, as they where in the series.

@dragonborn1222 , I've not been doing anything Skyrim related for a while, last i know - "The sword can be crafted from the steel tab in the forge, you may also be able to find it in Markarths guard tower which is were i like to test things."

how do you get the damn thing in the game

the Arakh is supposed to be held like a sicle (don't know how to spell it) which means you got th blade facing the wrong way

havent tryed it just yet my skyrim wont work at all

I believe there are references in the books to the arakh being double edged, which would make it both a khopesh and a falx/sickle style blade - perhaps a bit more fragile, but also versatile. But I suspect the game can't really model that ambiguity, so it has to be one side or the other.

Its a khopesh the grand daddy to the scimitar.

If possible could you make it so the blade is on the inside so it looks like a sickle or scythe or whatever please.

it works but when ever i equip, craft or anything else with it the game has a little crash on me. nothin big but i stalls for a minute or two then carries on fine. jus thought you should know.

If the blade were on the inside it would be a sickle not a scythe, a scythe has a long handle, similar to what the grim "reaper" is often depicted holding.

No, if it was on the inside, it would be a Scythe, this is a Kopesh, which is made for slicing, as opposed to straight-edged swords that were NOT ment to cut, but to stab.

Arakh, yes; Dario's no. That would be badass though. Shrink down say a Statue of Dibella, and make a dagger too.

ah yes now that you say that i remember reading that description. I agree that would make the sword very uniquely Dario's, but that's not really something that's to my tastes, but thanks for the comment, you make a good point. ^^

Needs more naked gold women on the hilt.
That shot from the show doesn't have him using them (for some odd reason, probably budgets and to not damage the special ones), but Daario's swords have naked gold women on the end of the hilt. Just wanted to point that out, since I think you made a good version, but the naked gold women make Daario's sword truly unique.
