skills never needed untill now = tight rope walker :)
never worked this map out, untill I got to the exit.
I just worked out how to get to next objective. then to the next etc.
as for comments about save points. their is a free mod, that gives you an easy way to do this.
it is called the "bee mod". you can check it out at the link below:

when installed, it adds items, including autosaves & more, to your pallet, in the portal editor.
you can drag an autosave to anywhere on you map, the same way you do other portal items.
you don't loose any portal items, but some get grouped.
eg cubes, you see only 1. drag to where you want & right click it & select from the menu which cube type, to change it.
Your levels are so challenging, they would all really be improved if they had intermediate save points. It gets quite frustrating to have to repeat the whole thing so many times.
