@Esgee -- if you got Nightingale Blade before level 46 it's a different blade and this update doesn't affect it. I've also never tested this with Skyrim Special Edition if you're running that. It's also possible that another mod is conflicting with it (unlikely but possible).

Yes, it did work. Had to drink a potion and equip some fortify smith gear. :)

I had +Smithing gear and potions when I did it. There're no relevant perks for the quality upgrade.

Nice, I will get it then. But could you tell me which perks do I need to have it Legendary? I have Smithing 100 and all perks, still it only showed Flawless option. On the other hand, I got Chillrend Legendary with Glass Smithing + Arcane Blacksmith. Do I need anything else such as potions, enchanted gear etc?

Leona - Actually it is possible to upgrade it to Legendar with this fix. Added a new screenshot to my collection if you want to check it out.

Even though it seems we cannot have it tempered to Legendary. Only Flawless.

I liked the idea so I subscribed but I spent the last 3 days trying to figure out why my game was crashing all the time. Apparently somehow my original nightingale blade was replaced by one of the 120 other mods I have installed so it couldn't find the item any more.

Bethesda is rather cryptic about what could be happening as the only message I got was "a mod can't find resource x, check warnings.txt to find out which mod it is" which was a cruel joke because warnings.txt doesn't exist in the first place.

Anyway, if you have a lot of mods installed and your game keeps crashing for no apparent reason, try disabling this. I didn't suspect it to be this mod since the change is so small so I had to find out the hard way. Disabling mods 1 by 1 and reloading.

Just to clarify THIS MOD IS WORKING FINE but remember not to get greedy by installing a lot of mods at the same time because with all the content this wonderful community provides, something is bound to clash.

Zr.Avenger - That is correct. The ability to "sharpen" doesn't affect the enchants. The 15 Stamina/Health drain sword is obtained at levels 27-35. This mod simply allows "sharpening" of the Nightingale Blade obtained at level 46+.

zant396 - Yeah. It's free. Partially because I made it for myself and partially because it took me all of fifteen minutes ;)

My enchanments on the Nightingale blade is still the same...absorbs 15 points of health. Is it meant to be that way?

Naw, this mod costs forty two thousand to subscribe, and another twelve to download. Seven to install correctly, and nine to have access to in-game.

Kouji - The level 46 version of the Nightingale Blade can't be sharpened at a grindstone. This little patch fixes that bug.

i was wandering the swamps near solitude and i found a dead nightning gale armor (head hands chest and feet) and an adges nighting gale blade. is it compatable? <--- it is not from a mod i checked.
