Any chance of making this for the AK 74? I wanna use the EFT skin mod but the wooden vertical grip kills it

Yeah, I mentioned that, it happens because all AK's have shared VGUI icon for their foregrips. I'm afraid I can't do something with this issue, because I've to edit configuration files to redefine each foregip icon, but I don't know how to do it properly and it might not be friendly with PvP mode.

I've read the description, but I didn't consider the issue a compatibility related one since I did not have any other mods installed. I did what you suggested, and the mod worked perfectly, except for the part that it also replaces the the other VGUI interface icons for the rest of the AKs.

Hmm... Did you read the description of the mod? I posted a link for AKS74U without its own grip, so it should be compatible with this zenit foregrip. Check the description and follow the instructions, I hope it will help. Let me know if it works.

the VGUI icon is working perfectly, but there is no model change when talking about the foregrip :(

I thought I did the VGUI icon, I guess it just doesn't work.
I just checked it out, and i'm surprised that originally it uses AKM's foregrip texture, and that's pretty weird. I updated the mod, so VGUI icon should work now, thanks for pointing me out.

This is awesome, for sure, but would you add a VGUI icon, please? If not, I may add it myself, but I don't actually know how to add transparency and stuff to icons.

Unsubscribe from the original aks74un mod, download and unpack the archive (link in the description) to your "insurgency2\insurgency\custom" folder, subscribe to this mod and have fun.

You mean, making another version of your mod with this handguard instead ? If so, hell yeah ! That'd be awesome !

I really love to play EFT but at its current state its unplayable. Thats why i will try Insurgency and this Handguard from EFT looks sick.

It works for me, but not always, and I have to restart the game to make it work. Tbh I don't know how to deal with this trouble, because I've never worked with Source before, but if it really doesn't work for you, I can cut the original handguard from my AKS74U mod and send it to you.
