Now I can lie to myself thinking that this is the Yukianesa blade from Blazblue.
Enakiin Sep 23, 2017 @ 3:03am
reminds me of the terrablade from terraria
DEvasto  [author] Jul 25, 2017 @ 4:30pm
It's at the very tippy-top of the Throat of the World, on the opposite side of where the Notched Pickaxe is. There's a screenshot up with the rest of the screens showing the location.
Stoffen Jul 25, 2017 @ 4:13pm

I just love dual-weilding infinity blade and silmeri together
DEvasto  [author] Mar 31, 2017 @ 7:31am
In due time, I just need to implement a 2-handy version and get everything else prepped for SE.
Alvitur Mar 30, 2017 @ 6:57pm
could you please make this into a mod that will work for skyrim special editon

Right, well basically, there are spells of the Gods which you can use called "miracles" that are their powers told through stories, and you can use them to use the same power. So, there's such miracles as "Lightning Spear" which is a javelin of pure golden lightning that you toss at an enemy. There's also "Great Lightning Spear," which is a heftier bundling of golden lightning that you hurl at stuff for even more damage, and "Sunlight Spear" which is the miracle of Gwyn, Lord of Cinder, who was the first to link the First Flame (the first bonfire). It's a golden, almost orange, hefty bunch of lightning that does far more damage than either of the two. (In Dark Souls, Lightning is associated with Sunlight, instead of Fire- which is associated with Pyromancy.) :praisesun:
DEvasto  [author] Feb 15, 2017 @ 9:28am
I'm afraid not. I'm aware of Dark Souls, but I've never actually played it.
glass bones and paper skin Feb 15, 2017 @ 8:05am
I haven't seen it done anywhere before, but it's some miracles from Dark Souls. I know some people have made a few Dark Souls related items and such, and a Pyromancy like Power Within, but I have yet to see anybody make Lightning/Sunlight miracles. Are you familiar with em?
DEvasto  [author] Feb 14, 2017 @ 5:11pm
What'd you have in mind? It is possible someone already did it, so I can at least take a look once I know.
glass bones and paper skin Feb 14, 2017 @ 4:24pm
Right, well, either way, it's still a fantastic mod series you've made. Do be proud of it, because you've done quite a good job on it so far.

Speaking of mods though, I've got an idea for one that I can't really make- and it's relatively simple. I'm curious if you'd be interested to bring this idea to fruition- it's just a couple of new spells, with custom effects and colors. You seem to have quite the talent at modding- so I just thought I'd at least bring up the notion. :)

It is entirely possible that the shapeshifting ability won't ultimately be implemented since it'll require designing the other forms and figuring out a form-switching method, but at the same time it's not entirely off the table since it's part of the concept surrounding the three weapons. Ultimately though, it'd be entirely optional. The choice of form is in the player's hands, and if they want to stick with the sword form, they'd be perfectly able to.
glass bones and paper skin Feb 14, 2017 @ 1:57pm
Aye, I mean, that seems like a pretty neat concept. It's neat, but it's like a "legendary" family sword, passed down from generation to generation, from hero to hero- like the Master Sword! Except, it can change form, and get different abilities per form. That's pretty cool. I kinda just feel like it would be better though, if you just let it stay as it is. But, that's just me.

Anywho, Vulcan sounds like a way better name than "The Infinity Sword". I imagine a sword that can stretch on forever or something, or create copies of itself that fly and rip into anything the wielder wants them to. Now that I think of it, that second idea sounds incredibly badass...
DEvasto  [author] Feb 14, 2017 @ 11:09am
Well, as far as their ability to shapeshift, it mostly would be cosmetic, though some forms might have a slight increase or decrease in base damage. The idea behind that ability though is, since they have had many wielders through the annals of time, the ability to reshape themselves allows them to best suit their chosen wielder's fighting style, rather than saddling their wielder with something they're not experienced with.

Now, as for the Infinity Sword, it has many names (a few which I mentioned in the mod's description), but "Infinity Sword" is the name it was given when I first created it, so that's it's "true" name. In terms of the sword's lore though, you could say its full name is "The Sword of Infinite Flame", or something to that effect, which over time and through multiple writings got revised into "Infinity Sword" as a short-hand form of its full name/title. Of its many names though, one that could be considered its second would be Vulcan.

It's a bit late for the reload, I can def try Kinesis, and I also tried finding the prompt using TCL, but to no avail. So, let's hope there's still a way to rip this sword out of the stone.

Additionally (this is unrelated to my problem), don't you think keeping the sword as-is would be alright enough? Sure, the idea of a many-formed weapon is neat and all, but I think that Silmeri, along with your Infinity Sword are just fine as-is. I feel their values as unique weapons individually are what make them special in their own rights- their styles, attributes, and such. One sword of volcanic power, the other of frost and storm- both of which give powerful boosts and abilities. Is there really a need for all of the form-changing?

And with that thought, why not rename the "Infinity Sword" into something more fitting of a lava blade? I mean, Silmeri seems incredibly fitting for this ice and frost sword, why not something like "Magmari" or what have you?

Just some thoughts, is all.
DEvasto  [author] Feb 13, 2017 @ 4:46pm
Skyrim does that sometimes, where it shifts the collision mesh or something down, making it uninteractable. You could try saving then reloading, the Telekinesis spell if you have it, or just using the TCL console command to clip into the mountain and wiggle around until you get an interaction prompt.
glass bones and paper skin Feb 13, 2017 @ 4:06pm
Apparently, I can't pick the dang thing up out of the mountain. Neat.
BashedDT Dec 31, 2016 @ 2:18pm

The Master Oct 22, 2016 @ 6:44am

whats the id number
leviathan Sep 30, 2016 @ 10:45pm
olay..
Wait.
DEvasto  [author] Sep 28, 2016 @ 9:40am
Arguably at your own peril, but that's besides the point. One of the screenshots shows its exact location on the Throat of the World, that being on the back of the peak where the Notched Pickaxe sits.
leviathan Sep 27, 2016 @ 7:33pm
Where is it at the snowy mountain? Because I skip long descs.
FinnJi Sep 3, 2016 @ 7:11pm
Thanks this sword is exactly the mod i want for the swordplay finishers mod it looks so cool and ty for the stance too
DEvasto  [author] Aug 2, 2016 @ 7:51pm
Well, in that case you'd have to use the console since there isn't yet a legit way to get two. Popping "help silmeri" sans quotes should bring up its ID.
00C9FF Aug 2, 2016 @ 5:13pm
What happens if I want two of them? >:C

deadracreeper Jun 8, 2016 @ 8:48pm
thx
DEvasto  [author] Jun 8, 2016 @ 7:13pm
No; since the mod's vanilla it'll work regardless of what DLC you have, it's just Skyrim's physics engine is a bit naff so things set to not havok settle sometimes, well, settle. This leads to stuff like the ground eating things if the item is partway embedded. Nonetheless make sure you're looking in the right spot, there's a screenshot up above with the rest that shows its exact location, relative to where you find the Notched Pickaxe (said location being in the lower left of the image).
deadracreeper Jun 8, 2016 @ 5:10pm
i cant fined it.is it because i have the all 3 dlcs iinstalled

this is a badass sword bro i lov it 100/100
DEvasto  [author] Dec 8, 2015 @ 10:59am
They are, they don't have anything named the same or otherwise that would cause hard conflicts so you can run all three together, which I do myself.
lyradronso Dec 7, 2015 @ 9:09pm
are both weapons compatible with eachother?
DEvasto  [author] Dec 5, 2015 @ 9:47am
I dunno if it'd work, but you could try opening the console and typing "completequest SilmeriPAQST", without quotes. Doing that may "complete" the tracing quest and thus disable the effects, but I dunno if it'd actually work, you'd have to give it a whirl and see.
uti tus Dec 5, 2015 @ 9:36am
hey is it possible to turn off the extra power attack effects*? i love the blade itself but not the effects.
