This mod seems to cause Stellaris to crash upon launch, at least for me. I know it says you won't work on it anymore, but you also said in a comment that you'd fix it if there were any major problems. Is this still a possibility, or are you totally done with the mod now?

I would really like to try this mod out, and it'll be a shame to let it die.

@BrutishMrFish ok, thats sad to hear, could realy use some mod like that, cause I make a Mass effect mod pack (there is a mod that replaces the contingency with the reapers) and now I need two coustom Empires (in my Case The Collectors and Geth Heretics to be allied with each other and the Reapers / the Contingency as soon as the event starts. So they don't get attacked by them but join the Reapers / the contingency in their war against all other Empires.

@Unity The supercomputer trait technically has nothing to do with the contingency, it just replaces the leader with one from a custom species that I called the contingency because I couldn't add it to the regular robot portrait list. You would need to write an extra event to make the contingency friendly.

Mod updated for 2.24. This will be the last update I release for this mod unless anyone finds major bugs that need fixing for the current version.

@loyalguard: Sorry, but the mod depends on the DLC government type for a lot of events and I'm not willing to put in the time to do it.

Can you update this mod without the DLC? the ships and everything else is already in the default game, If possible you can simply reuse the assets without getting in trouble because once again the assets came with the default game without any of the DLCs. :steamhappy:

Sorry, I can't help you there. The events use fixed locations that only work for one empire. It would require an entire rewrite to get the ships and stuff to spawn for multiple players.

Can you give me some advice how I can edit the mod so that it allows two Empires to get the Awakend Contingency perk pls? And will Ai controlled custom Empires (created via New Game) join the Comtingency to if I gave it the Idle Contingency civic when they appear ?

At some point I'll add more portrait colors, but lately whenever I add custom backgrounds they break all the rest and I have no idea why.

The Cybrex now spawn if you have around 20% of the map controlled (like in the regular event), Direct Control gives you all the planets/ships from Machine Fallen Empires, and Idle Contingency no longer has any civic restrictions.

For some reason, when I try to build a pop using this contingency race mod, it starts to build, but before the pop growth reaches past 0, it cancels itself, and doesn't even refund the spent minerals. Am I doing something wrong, or....?
