To avoid the Luxury models, you probably need to uninstall this mod and use the links posted here to install each weapon only. Not too much of hassle really.

Is it possible to disable Luxury weapons all together? They are a nerf to mods that allow to craft Meitou tier, which is the only reason to craft weapons in the first place

@TenDream To import, press the import button on the title screen and a list of save data will appear. Select the save data you want to import (after selecting the elements you want to keep and the elements you want to update), and then import the data. You can update the world while keeping your characters, bases, and belongings the same. By doing so, new NPCs and buildings added by MOD will appear in the world even if they are not new save data.
However, if you import with settings that allow new NPCs to appear, the NPCs that were captured in cages and the NPCs that were protecting your base will disappear, and the unique NPCs that you killed will be revived, so be careful.
Please rest assured that the save data has not been rewritten yet at the time of import. You need to save after importing.

I'm using a translation site and haven't played Kenshi for a while, so there may be some mistakes.

there is a problem, i have Ouroboros empire mod and it kinda breaks Triangle bandits, because they do not capture hideouts and OE just claims it. But they still come to me and saying that they now in charge and thats annoying

I can't imagine playing Kenshi without this mod anymore.. I really love to idea of the Cross Polearm however the head of the weapon is just too big.. it clips straight through greenlander legs.. only way to make it not clip through leg is to make your character a hunchback. Can you reduce the size of the weapon head so that it doesn't clip through?

Solid mod. I wasn't even aware that the Triangle Bandits are added by it, they fit into the game perfectly and make for a nice challenge

各勢力が様々な武器を持ち歩いたり、自分でも振り回せたりで非常に見ていて飽きない素晴らしいMODです。ただ、どういう訳か追加されるトライアングルバンディット達が勢力の牢屋から解放されません。ただのモブバンディットや名無し賞金首の拘留期間が「解放待ち」になっていても警察署のNPC達が行動してくれず、満杯になって新しい賞金首の受け渡しも出来なくなりました。

他のMODなどで鍛冶屋に変更が加えられてたりするとNPCがでなかったりします。
が、一応対応策は用意してあります。
Skinner's Roamに壊れた小屋(塔じゃないほう)があり、そこのNPCを殺すか檻に入れたあと小屋から結構離れるなどして更新されると、小屋が復活して鍛冶屋になるのでそこなら贅沢な研究を売っているNPCが確実にいるはずです。
少し手間で申し訳ありません。

@Mega Morber Phi Is it just the research cost that you deleted?
Maybe you are deleting "enable weapon model".
If not, it could be a bug. If you know how to create a research, try to create a research that unlocks the new "enable weapon model" Luxury and Very Luxury. It might be buggy if there is no cost, so you might want to set whatever you want for the cost.

I'm using Genesis and NWDM, nothing else that adds stuff, and to work around the "heng guy" not existing for luxury weaponsmithing, I removed the research cost of the research, however after constructing the Luxury Weaponsmith, I've found it is a dead building with no way to input to it and no crafting menu, any reason why?

So, there is an unintended interaction with this mod: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1686479628&searchtext=edge+3 , where once you are making Edge Type 3 with this mod, you, even if you do not have Luxury or Very Luxury Weapon researched, you can in fact make Very Luxury weapons at a critical.

Is there a fix for this? While the luxury weapons look nice, they are also heavier, and I'd rather have Meitou per crit than not.

These weapons are a mess of modifiers with no reason to balance or modify attributes; The first triangulator had 40% armor penetration with his base weapon, the long gun;

I have the mod activated but for some reason all these weapons disappeared? I had a few equiped on my characters, i loaded the game and they were gone. :( I got them from unique characters and they were special so I'm afraid i won't be seeing them again..

So, I kinda killed the Town of Heng before I heard about this luxury blacksmith thing and now that blacksmith isn't there. What do I do?

Aight, where is the Triangle leader located. His goons chopped Beep's leg off and now I want to turn him inside out.

I like the Triangle Bandits, but the English translation for dialogue does not match the quality of the rest of the English dialogue of Kenshi. It would be great if there was a patch or edit to make them speak more naturally in the English version.

I don't know when that will be, as I currently don't have the energy to make a mod. I am sure I will eventually get the energy, but I can't guarantee that I will make it then.

@ikahurula Yeah I already knew that, I'm just still not able to get it. Might have something to do with genmod adding an additional tech level or one of my mods that allows me to craft meitou grade stuff. Probably wouldn't hurt if there was another way to obtain the books such as spawning one at a different boss enemy in the world or something but I digress. Thanks for telling me the ID!

@Alex Luxury Design for the name and 1534469-TESTL.mod for the StringID.
The NPC who sells Luxury Design is not a blacksmith, but rather an NPC who is hitting the workbench or watching over it in the weapons shop. NPCs selling weapons will not sell it.
If you know this and are unable to get Luxury Design, I apologize.

What is the item ID for the luxury design research item? I've been unable to get the blacksmith in Heng to talk to me even though I finished the required research so at this point I'm desperate enough to modify some item IDs to cheat the item in.

i had a major bug after putting "triangle the first" into prison and trigger his world states:

with every load of a location most guards and shop-kepers were loaded additionally. first it was fun having 2 guys selling the same but each one has his own money.

later an eternal war on the whole map started. the city-guards started to fight all guys of other fractions in their town. for example UC vs shinobi thieves. additionally bandit groups started to spawn in bars and prisons wich made the war even bigger.

later i could not create new saves. overwrighting an old save was possible until finally even the auto-save didn't work anymore & my game broke.

maybe because i added this mod to an existing game.

found some bug, all fancy weapon look's like made of obsidian(black and shiny) and some has no texture in inventory

Installed NWDM today. It works well, I like it! I appreciate the effort you went to in making these weapons and integrating them into the world. I also appreciate how compatible and modular you made it with the patches for 'luxury weapons' and 'triangle bandits'.
