This is working with 1.54?
FullDigital55 Mar 16 @ 3:58pm
Can you please mark this as optional in manifest so it can be used in convoys as optional add-on. Thanks.
Cipus  [author] Feb 21 @ 10:41am
if two mods have traffic sounds, the one above will play the sounds
jpollard79 Feb 20 @ 8:18pm
Let me clarify my question. I did not understand your respond from a month ago so I needed to confirm.
FordExtendedWarranty Feb 19 @ 8:14pm
Is there real cars?
Cipus  [author] Feb 19 @ 12:15pm
I replied the same question just underneath a month ago :steamhappy:

Cipus, the only real sound mod I use is called "SOUND FIXES". Does your mod work with that mod? If so, what is the mod order you recommend? Above Sound Fixes?
Cipus  [author] Jan 13 @ 3:41am
it will work but the mod above in mod list is the one who uses the sounds, in case if that mod has also traffdic sounds
vvrcic1 Jan 13 @ 3:34am
can this be run alongside other sound fixes mods?
Cipus  [author] Oct 5, 2024 @ 11:21pm
this is working in all game versions since FMOD
Jordan97 Oct 5, 2024 @ 2:17pm
Do you have update for v 1.50?
JonnySilverhand@2077! Sep 19, 2024 @ 8:38am
Question where did you get your cb and random hanging mods that are shown in the video?
PinolX Sep 11, 2024 @ 8:20pm
1.51:approved:
Nomad64 Sep 11, 2024 @ 1:54pm
Cool, works just fine bud. Thank you.
Cipus  [author] Sep 11, 2024 @ 12:36pm
I don't think there are any reasons for this mod not to work in 1.51, so you can try
Nomad64 Sep 11, 2024 @ 12:29pm
Update for 1.51 please
HOLY_RHIN0 Jun 13, 2024 @ 4:37pm
Thanks so much for this mod, added to my favorites!
Benjamin May 28, 2024 @ 2:35pm
This is pretty cool, but sounds like I'm driving in the Daytona 500. LOL
Cipus  [author] Apr 11, 2024 @ 8:55am
if Ai sounds have not been modified it should work in any game version starting with 1.39, and reading the blog it seems updates are focused rather on visual an ui this time so all should be fine in terms of sounds
ebest8823 Apr 10, 2024 @ 5:42pm
is it compatible with 1.50 BETA
Cipus  [author] Mar 22, 2024 @ 9:04am

@Herr Lauert : It may as well be a problem with windows if that's what you use, if so try to go to you sound settings and turn of windows spacial sound, I had to do that with my old gpu (GTX980) because the sound architecture on that card was just to old.
m3L0 Feb 26, 2024 @ 2:42pm
I wrote to you in the Discord and made you an offer
Cipus  [author] Feb 26, 2024 @ 2:35pm
in sound folder all car soundrefs, and in def/vehicle/ai folder all sui files that are cars
m3L0 Feb 26, 2024 @ 1:00pm
There seems to be something more. Can you please tell me specifically what to delete and what not to delete? Because at first you said delete all soundref files in the sound folder and after I asked further you write that more data in the def/vehicle folder has to be deleted.
m3L0 Feb 26, 2024 @ 12:00pm
Great, thank you. Could you imagine offering an alternative version with truck sounds only?
Cipus  [author] Feb 26, 2024 @ 11:49am
not enough, you need also to remove all car files from def/vehicle folder and keep only trucks there
m3L0 Feb 26, 2024 @ 11:09am
Isn't it that simple? Then I can do it myself. Is it enough to delete all car files (car_) in the file path latest\sound\traffic or all files that start with "Car"?
Cipus  [author] Feb 26, 2024 @ 10:56am
still strange and I can suggest you to use the non steam version, where you edit the mod by removing car files and keep only the trucks, in sound folder also remove the car soundref files ands everything will be fine in your game
m3L0 Feb 26, 2024 @ 9:35am
Addendum: All Soundtruck Mods + Sound Fixes Pack have been deactivated and the familiar sound crackling is still present. I suggest to leave the really cool sounds on the trucks and leave the normal traffic vanilla. https://ibb.co/2vCD39P
m3L0 Feb 26, 2024 @ 8:01am
I'll be brief: your mod seems to be the problem. I even went so far as to end up with only three sound mods activated, i.e. the two below from Zeemods and yours.

Zeemod Interior Noises
Zeemods Peterbilt Effects

The problem only occurs with normal traffic (no trucks) and only with a few vehicles. I have an idea but I don't know if you'll have much desire to implement it. To be honest I'm only interested in your good work on the trucks and the normal traffic can use the sound fixes pack sound files or just vanilla.

I don't know what else to do. It can't be because of the two interior sound mods from Zeemod or maybe it is? We are only talking about interior sounds and these are not always audible.
Cipus  [author] Feb 24, 2024 @ 1:22pm
glad it's better without zeemod although I would preferred to work somehow together. Indeed these sound packs from zeemods are really nice, but very large samples, uncompressed one bank can be more than 50 Mb, while Kriechbaum packs are 10 times smaller and with about the same quality. since FMOD cannot handle that much therefore lower priority sounds could be in trouble (I applied low priority to Ai sounds so that truck sounds keep working correctly)
Cipus  [author] Feb 20, 2024 @ 4:14pm
Unfortunately it seems either FMOD, either the game (ATS more than ETS2), either both have some limitation on the number of sounds/banks that can simultaneously play. But I suspect also that there is buffer limitation, because I noticed these sound stutters on Ai vehicles, but it happens more often alongside mods like Zeemod (although nice sounds, he uses very large samples unlike Kriechbaum). I also suspect that sound fixes pack contains some unecessarily sounds for Ai that pile up to the total, so I am not using these sounds, mostly Kriechbaum sounds and Ai sounds are fine.
Cipus  [author] Jan 5, 2024 @ 3:16am
not going to work, but you can try the sound packs from the authors mentioned in my previous comment, especially Kreichbaum moreover that his mods are free
ConductorEli Jan 4, 2024 @ 6:53pm
If i was wondering if i can try to put your sounds into my trucks because they sound good is that possible to put it in the truck folders
Cipus  [author] Jan 4, 2024 @ 12:45pm
I subscribed to sound fixes pack although I am not using it, just to check if it includes the sui file for interior sound levels and I was right, Drive Safely do not have this. I personaly like sound packs of Kreichbaum but also Zeemods have great ones. still the best sound_effects_units file I believe I found in Harven's Freightliner FLB truck
Mo Jan 4, 2024 @ 4:52am
Oh! so which one would you recommend?
Cipus  [author] Jan 4, 2024 @ 4:46am
I am not convinced that drive safely included this sui file in all trucks, as these tweaks are rather part of the sounds mods for trucks not generic sounds included in sound fixes pack
Mo Jan 4, 2024 @ 3:45am
@Cipus, thanks for the tips, I am indeed using Drive Safely's mod for the interior.
Cipus  [author] Jan 4, 2024 @ 2:38am
thanks ;) I keep sound volume level at 35-40%, but you can lower if you wish so no need to update sounds since we have a slider for adjusting the volume. engine sounds are in my game at about 80-90%, always using sound mods, also make sure you use a modded sound_effects_units.sui in the interior folder for all trucks, because the original files from scs sucks :steammocking:
Mo Jan 3, 2024 @ 4:02pm
I've been looking for something like this for a while, but it sounds TOO loud that I can't hear my own truck in some situations, is there a recommended traffic sound level?
Regardless, GREAT work & effort, thanks a lot for that!
Universe_CZE Dec 25, 2023 @ 3:50pm
i swear dude, it works, thank you so much
Cipus  [author] Dec 25, 2023 @ 7:59am
If you want my Ai sounds you should place sound fixes pack below my mod and you will keep all other sounds from that pack, no need to deactivate anything
Universe_CZE Dec 25, 2023 @ 4:49am
@cipus i only have sound fixes mod, thats all :D ill try disable it
Cipus  [author] Dec 25, 2023 @ 3:09am
there are no reasons for this mod not to work except a possible conflict with other sound mods
Universe_CZE Dec 23, 2023 @ 9:40am
i cant find it working, do i need something else for this mod?
