magor5678 I honestly don't fully remember other than I had to use like 4 or 5 different softwares back then. Plus I probably don't even have the original files anymore either lol. There where multiple tutorials that I follow years ago for each little step, but this should help at least get models from Sims 4 and then just find a tutorial online for rigging and importing to Gmod. You could also decompile my mod to reuse the code. Sims 4 Model Ripping Tutorial Video (not my video) Good luck and hopefully its enough to help. do you think you could help port some of my sims to gmod playermodels for me? ive been trying to do this with my own sims for literal months to no avail... i even used the same tutorial you linked and i keep coming across a huge plethora of errors

This is great but can you tell me how do you port sims model into gmod? I want to make some premade sims into gmod (like the goth family for example). I already export my own sims into an obj file now the last thing I want to do is port it.

I like it, i also tried to do some models of my sims for gmod, but it didn't work for me. I tried with ninjaripper but it didn't create any mesh files so i don't know what to do. I don't use blender so it would have been a few extra steps for me. Plus I did try Sims 4 Studio at first, but didn't get the results that I wanted. But yeah i suggest do what works best for you :)

However, for future ports (I have done a lot of modding on the sims 4 and now I am beginning with Gmod) your should try to rip off the models with Sims 4 Studio, which exports base models with one cloth and their textures ;-) And you can change the base model to work with in the parameters of Sims 4 Studio to have your body morph with clothes ! :-)
(It exports only in Blender .blend files)

I only looked at the pictures and I'm dumb so I'm just gonna assume the Grim Reaper isn't in this. Can you please add him? I know he is inother model packs, but they are from Sims 2, and everyone can agree he looks much better in 4.

You can use ninjaripper to get the models from sims 4 just be aware that it only rips the base character mesh. So any body shape changes you will have to do in whatever 3D program you use. As for making it into a playermodel I followed this tutorial https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=702924242 as it has many links in it to many different resources.
