i think skyrim is to small to be relistic in time just my oppinion. if i would be able to mod i would do the same type of mod just make 1 irl min to 5 min ingame because like... when i play i clear the area of whiterun a half day like.... dragonborn comes to skyrim enters helgen, gets out, goes to the jarl in the first rl hour gets equip talks to everyone in whiteruen gets every quest possible in whiterun finishes the circle questline and half the dragonborn questline in literally one day in skyrim... ? uhm... not to much immersive roleplay stuff here
SiriusNoctis Aug 29, 2018 @ 7:13am

Dude I couldnt even tell you the first thing about modding, I would like to learn because I have really good ideas in my head. But back to the topic at hand, always love yourself so you could love others. It seems like a good mod. Peace out brother.
spicyjesus  [author] Mar 5, 2018 @ 1:39pm
honestly I was 14 when I made this mod so I dont really mind
LateralusXs Mar 5, 2018 @ 9:08am
You shouldnt be so hard on yourself.
LateralusXs Mar 5, 2018 @ 9:08am
Wow people are fuckin cold. Just reading some comment makes me loose faith in humanity.

HotDogWater Dec 5, 2016 @ 1:15am

Elitegamer010 Jan 15, 2016 @ 11:32am
can you make a version that only makes it so that 1 min min of game time is 1 min in real time? i'm not interested in all the other features
Jovial Bard Jun 24, 2015 @ 12:26am
Okay, I was just asking, I don't have the mod yet
spicyjesus  [author] Jun 23, 2015 @ 11:57pm
THE TIMER WAS NEVER BROCKEN.

If you press T and wait then it will be the same as vanilla, only if you are not waiting or sleeping will time be slower.
Jovial Bard Jun 23, 2015 @ 1:36pm
Did you change anything about the timer?
Wouldn't want to actually wait 8 REAL hours in game to pass one night.
Dagdraumur May 23, 2015 @ 6:59am
That's a cowardly answer if I've ever heard one. Have you no pride in your work whatsoever? Very well then, I will leave you to your impenetrable shield of self gratifying egoism. Good bye, and good luck to you.
spicyjesus  [author] May 23, 2015 @ 6:52am
I dunno, if people choose to educate them selves on a skyrim workshop mod then that is their problem, I cant be stuffed editing crap, nor can I be bothered responding to anymore messages.
Dagdraumur May 23, 2015 @ 6:48am
Are you going to correct the description then, so that it mentions the inaccuracy? Or are you going to continue disseminating false information to uneducated people?
spicyjesus  [author] May 23, 2015 @ 6:38am
well, I suppose the mod is inacurate, dont use it, and I never supported paid mods, so even when I could of, I didnt.

And there is nothing wrong with the mod it self, I made an error how long ago? More then 2 years? So I dont care, dont use it or use it, your choice. 2710 other people will use it instead.
Dagdraumur May 23, 2015 @ 6:34am
In your description you called us all out to prove you wrong, and I'm here to tell you just that: You are wrong.
There is no place on Earth's northern hemisphere where there is a winter's day that lasts for 14 hours. That only happens in summer. Even as far south as Spain, which is still in the northern hemisphere if you didn't know, an average winter's day would be 8 hours. Your mod is not even remotely correct in this respect! I'm just glad that no one will ever be asked to pay for it.
spicyjesus  [author] May 22, 2015 @ 8:59pm
its a game, it can be wat I want it to be
Melletch May 22, 2015 @ 8:58pm
Wait, hold on there...We cannot call out stories for realism according to Earth. They have realism for their own world to worry about. But I get what the mod is, though I would maybe like a real realism time, moons, and sun mod for The Elder Scrolls.
spicyjesus  [author] May 22, 2015 @ 7:01pm
yay. 100 ratings
spicyjesus  [author] Apr 28, 2015 @ 1:45am
realistic as possible too Earth
Melletch Apr 27, 2015 @ 10:10pm
one moon is more realistic? Not at all. Not on Nirn. : )
Dagdraumur Apr 18, 2015 @ 7:57am
In the northern hemisphere of planet earth, days are Shorter in the winter and Longer in the summer. The closer you are to the north pole, the more pronounced the effect. I used to live in Iceland, and in winter there are days when the sun does not make it all the way across the sky. It just sort of gives up and goes back the way it came. If you really want it to be realistic, I would suggest finding a way to make the ammount of daylight change with the seasons.
spicyjesus  [author] Jan 20, 2015 @ 9:07pm
But this way is hipper
Gaspé la Vache Jan 20, 2015 @ 4:00pm
You know that the 1 minute in game being 1 minute in reality can be set with the console right? "set timescale to 1" that's it.
OceanFresh Jan 17, 2015 @ 2:53pm
"Ive updated it so the sunrise and set is 5-9, I researched it and for winter that is more or less the average. (so prove me wrong)"
"I have now made the day length REALISTIC"
5-9 and 8-4 are 3-5h apart. I don't know what source told you those times, but they're not accurate.

Not that anyone cares, I'm just a pedant, please ignore me.
Ricardo Steve Jan 17, 2015 @ 12:04am
the moon is great and big, cool
swaghettiyolognaise Dec 24, 2014 @ 11:51pm
gr8 mod
spicyjesus  [author] Dec 14, 2014 @ 1:10pm
Okay im aware that the sunset and sunrise are not exactly correct, and that there is no "realistic" time, but this is acceptable for a colder climate where the days are much longer, im sorry if you dont like it but it dosent really change that much content, so you will have to put up with it.
OceanFresh Dec 14, 2014 @ 5:50am
I wouldn't agree with your sunrise/set times. I live in Scotland, which is about the same longitude as Vancouver, or Stockholm, say, and, being currently in winter, we get sunrise between 7-8 and sunset about 4.
spicyjesus  [author] Dec 13, 2014 @ 5:36am
Im confused, this mod was made ages ago, and its starting to get more views and likes, can somone tell me where you are finding it? is it on the most popular this week page or somthing?
Zuth Dec 13, 2014 @ 5:30am
Interessante!
EX0・XQLOW Dec 11, 2014 @ 10:49pm

spicyjesus  [author] Dec 2, 2014 @ 2:03am
Guess your wrong
theregisteredone Dec 2, 2014 @ 12:53am
I guess this doesn't change the moon orbits and phases to be realistic
spicyjesus  [author] Nov 2, 2014 @ 9:11pm
I think you are confused, it is sunset at like 9, not bright and sunny, please, you are a worthless sheep.
CentralNexus Nov 2, 2014 @ 6:04pm
Extremely confusing -- bright skys at 10PM or later? Next to worthless
RamShadow Aug 16, 2014 @ 5:07pm
1 min still 20 min in the game...
Sto Aug 11, 2014 @ 3:32am

This mod gave me an idea for a new mod, add real weather & link to real $ giving to the real time, based on a random pick of the top 5-50 real weather related events.

This would actually honor those who can serve in real rebuilding something sublimely special with links to give real $ donations to rebuild lives.

As much as we truly feel empathy and sympathy for the folks impacted by the Typhoon in the Philippines, creating a virtual try to walk an inch in their shoes makes it real. I would appreciate to be able to replay weather over real time from live real earth conditions. Heck you could damage with the weather, various Skyrim cities, have rebuilding, caravans of aid workers who need protecting and even perhaps make real work value out of the mod by offering an optional (can turn on or off) display real / validated non phishing safe recommended set of donation real $ link(s) to help out.
Enjoy!

...continuation

Disable by deselecting, the realistic Time, Moon and Sun.esm file and restart the game from new to reproduce, the dragon will land on queue, plenty of harm done to the gaggle of parking cops who go running screaming everywhere.

So, it may be that the solution is to have the mod auto disable and re-enable dynamically to avoid collisions with this and other timing sensitive cut scenes. The game has many of these cut scenes that I suspect all might be impacted or potentially affected.
Pickle Rick Grimes Nov 14, 2013 @ 2:19pm
Bit of a showstopper bug; To reproduce with a minimum of external factors, follow along with me down the rabbit hole. Using this or more complex method, the issue occurrence is 100%
First; using a virgin Skyrim install of Skyrim Dawnguard, install no workbench or Nexus mods.
Install only Realistic Time, Moon and Sun from the Steam workbench.
Start the game from New.
Watch the wagon scene and after the driver double parks resulting in a rather harsh death sentence for his passengers.
Then, when you have opportunity to EEOC self-identify enter ONLY race and name. Then watch the driver get executed and when your back is pushed down, keep an eye on the spineless dweeb in front of the shopping block who's taking the police report.
First indication of the bug is you will see him walk to the hay bales to the right of the tower and walk without pathing and the dragon will never land on the tower. No chaos, no running, screaming fire or crunching, nada.
I love the mod premise!
