Hello, this map is one of the best I have ever seen. But I have a small problem, that is, the global script that comes with the map is too strong, relax_maxflow =1, and the default value of this value is 3000, relax_maxtime = 1.5, relax_mintime =0.5, and the default times of these two values ​​are respectively 30 seconds and 45 seconds. This will make the game extremely difficult in mutation4 mode. Of course, this is just a small suggestion from me. This map is one of the best maps in my mind in coop mode and realism mode.

I re-installed it and removed all other add-ons from the Addons folder, and there were no sound issues this time, but once I got my 250 campaigns and weapon model add-ons back along with 2050 still being installed, those Spitter/Smoker's footsteps and high-pitched NPC voice started playing again. If I remove any other add-ons (this is how I found out that exactly 2050 was causing sound issues, by installing one add-on/campaign at a time), the issue persists, so probably, like you said, it conflicts with something, although it is not marked red in the add-ons list.
Maybe I am simply one of those unlucky people who get weird things happen on their side for literally no comprehensible reason while other people have never even heard of something like that... Well, whatever, then. I already played through this campaign and only kept it for collection purposes.

I've never heard of that before and the only thing I'd suggest that casues that would be the sound.cache file but you already tested that. So idk, must be an addon conflict of some sort

For some reason, exactly this campaign (not any other and not any of the add-ons I am using) causes sound issues: the idling zombies may give away the walking sound (the quite loud one) of the special infected (Smoker's or Spitter's footsteps); other sounds (explosions, hits from zombies, when survivors shove the zombies and so on), as well as NPC's voices (like the pilot's in the first chapter of No Mercy), became much louder and they sound like their audio quality got lowered (my headset is almost blowing up from that overly high-pitched audio). The moment I uninstalled exactly this campaign, the sound issues are no more.
Removing the sound.cache file from this campaign's VPK archive changes nothing, though.

Pretty good map, i love the atmosphere and the map being dark helps the tension, The horde w the Tank in the 1st chapter was kinda brutal though. Take your time w the map its good
