A better mod from a more civilized age, when I didn't need 10 years of work experience in contract negotiation to point a gun at someone's head and tell him he works for me now.

Id like a harder vassal negotiation mod. Weak empires should try to recover instead of randomly swearing fealty to that empire across the entire galaxy that takes tribute from them but also cant protect them

With Overlord installed this has no effect on vassal negotiations. Great idea, but not the answer to absurd nine hundred out of left field negotiation skew for vassals.

How does this work currently? IE, the FunEFork of Vassals Expanded and Reworked, with Exalted Domination, and the compatibility patch for the two of them? Wouldn't another patch be needed to make that compatible with this?

Every single federation I've joined or created so far (not kidding, literally every time, it keeps ruining saves) has resulted in the subjugation spam bug. The casus belli itself seems to actually be becoming invalid and valid sothe notifications are not in error. I'd honestly just lock the subjugation casus belli back behind vassalation refusal, like the tooltip says it should be. Would avoid the spam entirely.

This is a very needed mod. My fleets are 1,000,000 strong, and those pathetic 20k empires don't want to bow!

One major problem is fedrations, they give a -1000 acceptance. I would rather not have to glass 100 more plants. Could you make this mod deal with that too?

Maybe force them to leave the federation and become my vassal.

This mod is fantastic :D But does it play well with the Zenith of the Fallen Empire? As that removes the usual vassalize request

Same here, got it after 3rd faction joined Federation (I was not in any federation at that moment)
Subjugation claims notification came from all 3 members of that Federation.

For me I got it shortly after I formed a federation with a vassal I made then released after it grew somewhat. This is around mid game I think.

Having the same issue as Darh; getting spammed, endless notification that "The Confederation of Vool'u-Umu can now use the Subjugation Causes Belli on you." Appeared about halfway through my save, their empire is "Pathetic" in all categories compared to mine, and does not go away on reload or declaring war. Only other mod active is vassal Gateways.

Hello, I think I have run into an issue with this mod. I was just vassalised by my neighbouring empire and I received the +75% resource boost an -50% naval cap from the integrated crysari vassal mod. But when I fought them and gained independence again, I lost the policy and +75% resource gain but the -50% naval cap remained.

This mod is supposed to make it easier to vassalize weak empires right? Well it doesn't. In fact, I find it *even harder* to vassalize or offer tribute to people with this mod on. Without it there are about 3 nations I can vassalize. When I turn it on they all suddenly have -1000 modifiers and hate my guts. I can't bully weak empires. Even if they are just "suspicious" they would rather die or be enslaved than just become a tribute. It could be a tiny micro nation and I could have actually positive relations but because they suspect me for some reason, they would rather die than just pay taxes to me in exchange for protection.

Finally got around to updating this mod! My launcher was horribly broken and I hadn't had time to fix it.
No new additions, just a simple update. In my test federation spam was fixed, but your mileage may vary. Let me know if that is still a problem

great mod but ultimately broken as when a civ joins a federation it will break the causes belli system and cause you to be spammed with X CIV HAS A SUBJUGATION CAUSES BELLI popop every 3 days of game time for the rest of the game making it unplayable. Sad because all I wanted really was the Crysary Vassal change. Thanks for your work though it was cool while I was playing it even the AI was grabbing more vassals.

It did work on an already created game in 2.6.2, not so sure if it works at all in 2.6.3 or the launcher is screwing up updates.

Love the mod, but when using it, the spam from being in a federation is ... well crazy. Hopefully this will be fixed, as I really enjoyed using this mod, especially as it allowed Mega-corps to integrate subjects.

Vassals joining the federation is a setting in your federation I believe. Vassals should have a massively increased chance to vote for resolutions you create. Sadly there's no way I can see to mod them to vote alongside you, the ai doesn't really get that information.

How do vassals act in a Federation? Do they vote however they want or are they forced to vote in your favor (as it should be). At the very best can you make it so they don't automatically join a federation when it's created?

Unanticipated bug: So whatever the fix is, it's not save-game compatible if it works. Saw a FE declare a Subjugation war on an AI nation, when they won that nation lost a chunk of territory...which created a brand-new FE.

Funnily enough, if you succeed in vassalizing them (through being OP), the dialogue screen of the Xenophobes opens with:
"You break the game, we break you."

Did a quick fix that hopefully prevents them from always having casus belli on you. This issue runs deeper than expected, so I will need to dig around further
