I know Virtual Desktop wireless version is all the rage, but these worship environments make Virtual Desktop wired worth it. You can actually run the wired version through the wireless version if you have both. I currently use this version of Virtual Desktop with Airlink using a Quest 2. I especially love High Max. Its' a classic.

Hi Bowlcut, Just want to tell you I've been using HighMax as my Virtual Cinema of choice for the last year. First on my Rift CV1 (not a great experience despite the OLED screen thanks to Pentile SDE and horrible colourbanding thanks to the OLED's funky Gamma response apparently), then on the Oculus GO, via Sideloaded Virtual Desktop and streaming the SteamVR version of VD to my GO. (Fantastic increase in clarity thanks to the RGB Stripe LCD and no OLED artifacts).

Finally graduated to a HP Reverb (2160x2160 per eye) for Sim and Virtual Cinema usage with a Rift S for everything else. Your HighMax Virtual Cinema was Glorious on the GO, Rift S and now with Reverb I am getting to watch movies in near 1080p quality in the best Virtual Cinema Environment anyone has created bar none.

Thats in any Virtual Cinema App, I'm not just talking about Virtual Cinemas for Virtual Desktop. I've done a full 3D MCU Movie Marathon (23 Marvel movies) in the Reverb and HighMax now and its been incredible. Thank You so much for all the work you put into this.

Thanks for the comments! Bromius I do actually have a darker version I might upload but have you tried dimming the lights with the Virtual Desktop button to dim lights that you can assign under the bindings menu? I've noticed with VLC the automatic dimming doesn't work

This is one of the best enviorments but it feels like no one dimmed the lights in the movie theathers. Can we get a version with the lights turned down? The seats are to well lit for watching movies

Fuck yes. Excellent work!! The Imax in Melbourne is one of my favourite things in the world, I hope we don't need a virtual desktop environment of that for the same reasons :(
