Update- changed amount of bamboo logs to make charcoal from 1 to 2 since they are hollow. would technically take more wood.

Update- fixed the naming of the bamboo charcoal

I have fixed it so there is 2 charcoals to craft, one needing log and one needing bamboo.

oh this was not intended. sorry it has been awhile since I modded here., Last update must not of been the right tagging or merging.

Hello, I'm not sure its a bug or just me not understanding: I need to make charcoal for shcematic Drafting, but the only charcoal I can do ask for 1 bamboo log + 1 any log.
It seems I can't make charcoal without bamboo now.

I'm I missing something?

I dont think that I ever added the ability to make charcoal from bamboo. Not sure it is possible but I will see about adding it anyway

@wolfgar7474 You, my friend are an absolute legend! Now we have a new problem lol at least it is not a crash. You can now no longer create charcoal from bamboo logs. It will say "You do not have the required resources."

@shortybsd I think I found the problem and pushed a fixed. I added the bamboo log as new log tag and as a regular log so it would drop into default game log storage. I had it tagged as physical material Wood instead of Woodheavy as the games log is. Hopefully this fixes it.

thought I fixed that before. I am getting a few things I need to fix and have all my M.E. stuff on another pc so eventually I will have to get on there and refresh M.E. modding and fix some things. Thanks for the report

Hey bud. The logs aren't stackable but show an x1 next to the icon in your inventory. Should these be stackable or is that not part of the design? Either is fine, I just wanted to report a bug if it is one.

@wolfgar7474 i tried empty planet in creavive, searching everywhere and no bamboo. does this mod still work on 0.7.2? also the EsternArchitect mod. I'm Asian, so i love these Estern mod, so sad that i can't play these mod.

Probably wont work with any modded planet unless they add it into the planet.

Oh, Thank you. maybe that why i cant get bamboo. does it work with big planet water map?

Not sure it would work in a Workshop map unless they include it in their. I dont remember a Fire and Ice map.

yeah sorry I was never very good at making the schematic details for my blocks so you know to research them.

Right, I didn't realize that I had to research it first, and I didn't know what I needed to research to get it, but I figured it out.

It should be in the large blocks that you have to build.

I can't find any sort of bamboo storage in my crafting tab or in the crafting table. And now that I have 40+ bamboo logs in my inventory and they won't go into the log storage, I can't free up space to gather other resources. HAAAAAAAALP!

Update-Added Bamboo log to Charcoal.

Update. changed the burn time of the bamboo log from 100 sec to 50 secs. Added Bamboo log to sticks personal and crafting table with variable crafting speed.

update-added proper ingredients to Bamboo flooring and fixed collision of Doorways

must of forgot to add the ingredients to the floor and I will fix the collision on the doorway. that must of been when characters where shorter in .64

I found another issue. Doorways won't allow the player to go through. I tried the one with a door. The other one without a door was in the bamboo wall section. Both will not allow me to pass.

Also I would recommend bamboo supports be added please. When you can. :)

Why does a bamboo floor need planks?
I tried to make them out of bamboo logs but it's not working.

update- got some help I did the merge append data wrong. Sorry about that should be fixed now.

Are you sure? I am having alot of issues with the game. First it won't load the mods. So I exit out of the game. Then the game won't play but says it is. After a few tries, I do a restart only to find the game was uninstalled.

I wanted to ask, will the bamboo re-spawn?

I found a new bug with the bamboo. It seems that now you can only burn bamboo with this mod.
Nothing else can be used as fuel.
Seems like a great mod otherwise.

Update fixed the bamboo log tag so it can still be burned and built with but not tag other logs.

well i had it tagged as log before and somebody complained about that so I changed it. I guess I will change it back.

English : Hello, since the update of the mod, we can no longer manufacture beams and planks from the bamboo trunks. ok for the principle, but push the logic to the end: why to put a bamboo floor, you need sticks and boards from other trees? and also, we should be able to use bamboo as fuel. A new update seems relevant to me.

French:Bonjour, depuis la mise a jour du mod, on ne peut plus fabriquer des poutres et des planches depuis les troncs de bambou. ok pour le principe, mais poussont la logique au bout: pourquoi pour mettre un plancher en bambou, il faut des stick et des planches venant des autres arbres ? et aussi, on devrait pouvoir utiliser le bambou comme combustible . Une nouvelle mise a jour me semble pertinente.

Update-Increased size of full grown bamboo plants. Fixed the bamboo log tag definition. Fixed the bamboo flooring Icon.

Update- Increased density of the bamboo. Fixed the rug so it can be placed and picked up. Removed blender files and trash to decrease mod size.

I desire to use this mod but could you make a modified version where it can not be used as wood for other projects and only for the intended bamboo buildings?
