There are addons that port the bare minimum assets from source as an addon including textures. Use them if you are so inclined.

It would be better if all of the old HL1 texture files would all be packed into the BSP. map file without having to install game content! Can you add the texture files into the Bsp. map file without having to install Half-Life Source please?

i really thought that was a map ported from a hl1 mod

i just throwed bomb under the bus and it said i killed a stalker and now some red lazer trying to kill me

The skybox of the map is very bright, nothing like the city background in the pictures

I absolutely love this map, it's even in the background of my profile picture. I however wish it had brighter lights outside as it is very hard to see, and it could use a larger map as I end up getting cornered by the things I spawn. The details and aesthetic however are very pretty.

It's Still a good map. I can smell the late 90s loading in.. Wish it had more rooms with that lovely goldsrc flair

Half Life Echoes maps please?

We need more maps with Half-Life 1 textures on the workshop :p

I've tried using V.I.D.E once, yeah... that didnt work out for me that much...

Would Reccomend Using V.I.D.E to pack map textures and models. Fan of GS maps myself. Made the OPF bootcamp map a while ago

put MAT_SPECULAR 0 in the console for textures that shine

It's that kind of the map you start following authors after subscribing to, good job.
My only suggestion would be toning down the brightness of interior lights and making environmental ambient a little brighter
