@SalmonToastie This rapier still has the small gascanisters on the side where I asume was where its gas where stored and pipes leading them into the the guard where the flame came from.

@SalmonToastie Jat Kusar kindof do. Twin Baslok may have inside the axehead, but Im not sure. However where all the gas is stored is still a mystery.

@Roaring Dragon, Cheers for the reply. Maybe i didn't type it right. Do those two weapons have anything like pipes etc to show they are using said chemicals, instead of just being on ''fire'' like this rapier orignally was.

Grinere use chemicals for most things, and thats probably how they ignite their fires, by using chemicals that reacts creating heat that ignites something burnable. Or maby chemicals that simply react with the oxygen in the air (the definition of burning). (PS: Im aware you asked the creator and not me, but now you have a answear)

@Faven no idea if you can read this. As you are somone who designs stuff and all that, what does the Jat Kusar and Twin Basolk have that allow them to have the ''fire effect''. The only thing i can think off mechanically is the innate fire based damage. What about their design?

Aww, that's okay tho. The new look reminds me of the Grineer Cleavers/Machete in the way it glows near the edge of the blade, looks cool.

I have never ever commented here but since I am a die hard fiora player in league I am happy that someone is makin a rapier skin. However that said I really am not a fan of the tip of the blade. :( Still putting that aside it looks awesome!

When it is sheathed, I think the flame should dissapear. Just a thought

Honestly I like everything about this. The only thing I'd say could use improvement is the spikes. I actually like how they look as is, but grineer really haven't used spikes like that, so my recommendation would be to change them to more resemble the Fragor Brokk skins spikes, really just less perfectly conical as it makes them clash with the rugged and bulbous motif that the grineer have.

Also I have to agree with Dama733, DE really should contract you, you have almost as many Graxx skins added as there are offical deluxe skins, though those have model changes so it's different, but I bet if you could change models you'd absolutely kill it.

this is amazing i love it, one thing tho, maybe add some tubes up the blades and have a seperate set of flames on the end and i havent really seen spikes like that on grineer items

The only thing I'd like to see is the flames from teh guard "superheating" the tip so you have one of those weird glowing edges like those YouTube vids of 1000c knives cutting things....

I don't know. Grinner style rapier is new and welcoming. But not sure whether your attempt to make it look elegant and brutal at same time worked out well. I support you, but whatever you do, please remove spikes.

Tint 1: Plates and handle
Tint 2: Paint
Tint 3: Grip Wrap and trim
Tint 4: Blade and spikes
Tint 5: Energy

Greatly dislike how the grip-tape is the same color as the paint.
