If it's only a few you can also use the map setting and set the minimum players to something absurd like 100, but you'd need to do that for each map you don't want to show up

No, it just pulls from the maps you have available on your server. If you want to exclude maps, it integrates with ULX's votemap exclude list.

i think it checks your gamemode and then uses that gamemode's prefix, but you can also edit the prefixes in the config i think

I keep getting Half-Life maps bleeding in when its time to vote for a new map on ttt. No idea how to exclude them

You can either use MapPrefix or MapConfig configuration properties to narrow the list of maps or exclude ones you don't want

interesting - I've removed all of the mapvote-related lua files I could find from prop hunt, and it still doesn't seem to be working lol. I wonder what's going on, I reeeaaally want the map icons

Check the other settings. If you have more maps then the number in the config it chooses a random set of them

so... Sandbox? Yea, it's configured for TTT by default. If you open the garrysmod/data/mapvote/config.txt file on your server and modify the MapPrefixes value from "ttt_" to "gm_" then it should show stuff.

I'll see if its something I need to change tomorrow but although I am now getting your mapvote popup, its after about 3 rounds instead of what i specify in prophunt's \gamemodes\prop_hunt\gamemode\shconfig.lua

Maybe I should add that I am not directly subscribed to it. I downloaded it via the github link on its page so that I could modify the code slightly. (changing round count and .wav files) but also to stop cstrike maps appearing in its built in mapvote.
