I just checked the code and here's what i figured out (im not a coder and this all can be just a shitty misinterpretation but still):

Lightweight vest actually scales Bullet, Shotgun and AirboatGun damage to 0.60
It also scales Slash, "Club" and AirboatGun damage to 0.90 (AirboatGun damage scales 2 times but on different lines)

Ballistic vest decreases Bullet, Shotgun and AirboatGun damage to 0.45
Also gives melee protection from same damage types, 0.80

Heavy vest decreases Bullet, Shotgun and AirboatGun damage to 0.30
Melee protection, same damage types, 0.60

Helmet also decreases 3 types of damages above to 0.35

Stab vest... Has an unusual bullet protection. Damage scaling here is literally written in green with "--" which means it's just a text & not an argument. It just doesn't work. But melee damage scaling works (same dmg types), it's 0.45

Kevlar suit decreases Bullet, Slash, Shotgun, AirboatGun, "Club" damage to 0.20

Vests cannot be equipped and they create a LUA error when tried to be equipped, please fix this.

If it has the custom kevlar, I can try it out

there is a version of this addon but with tarkov armor instead, it might be fixed there

could say this is depriciated, custom kevlar is not changed even after restart. Someone else could pick this addon up and fix the bugs
