This mod makes any lake or deep river the equivalent of a giant's camp. I like it. I also like that I can outswim them, but only by a little bit.

Ok some tips on this. Might want to reduce thier aggro radius. I thought I had some monster angry at me nearby but turned out to be a giant slaughterfish nearly 100ft away in the river at markarth. Also slaughterfish are appearing inland on high lands.

One sure fire way to kill them - boots with a water-walking enchantment (or a spell, or the mod of your flavor). Walk right over their heads and stick your sword in the water. Don't know why they can't attack back then, but it works every time.

Love this mod, even though its a little glitchy - sometimes the fish come up on land, or float just above the surface. And the smallest ones one-shot me every time. Still awesome - slaughterfish to be taken seriously now, and combined with frostfall, plunging into rivers and lakes is no longer a casual decision!

@ King Sombra - jump into the lake above Riverwood sometime. Like five of them in there (varying sizes)

Okay now this is just plain fun! Scared the bejeezus out of me first time one of those big slaughterfish sidled up to me and started chomping. I spent the next two hours "fishing" for them using myself as bait and my archer friends as the hook. I immediately started investing in "detect life" before every stream crossing.

My only minor beef with the mod is seeing great big slaughterfish flopping around in knee-deep streams here and there (especially in the Reach)

dude this is really cool it makes it so the water is scary (the way its supposed to be) + I just love the green texture on the slaughter fish (some of them) that you put on. LIKE FOR U

and it works with dawnguard and hearthfire. i have all of them installed

You know what, you could make one of the average-sized ones into piranhas. Make them smaller and less harmful, but spawning in groups of 5-7 :D

these are cool can you make a longer one that is faster than others kinda looks like an eel/slaughter fish mix and put it near markarth and solitude but its like the twice the size of a normal sluaghterfish

Is there something I'm missing here? I can't fight underwater like in Morrowind and Oblivion, not even with fists. I have to lure slaughterfish to the shallows in order to hit them with anything. In game, I have not yet subscribed to this because I'm not going against these monsters and can't even throw a fist in their face.
