Wow I Love the Library !

I must comment on the wonderful touches of ornamentation, the skeleton miniature is a real sweetie, unlike his full sized. The dragonskull was an easy choice for the entryway.

For improvements, only one thing really stood out to me.
Putting nicer beds in for the Housecarl / Steward. It just seems to let the rest of the house down, unless you can put in doors ?
I loved the big carpet in the library, if you could work more of that in, it would go nice.
It was funny to go into the cellar via lounge [a much better placement imo] and come out into the kitchen [thru Sheizie mod, -apologies if I spelt it wrong]. I use her in my houses so was wery happy to see you worked with it.
Do I take it you will be doing your own kitchen, with no trapdoor, when you get time etc. ?

I am very grateful. Thank you so much.

What a lovely mod! Took me a while to get back to Skyrim and to sum up the courage to try mods, but I'm so glad I did! I felt the same way, why can't I have an armoury AND a library? Excellent work Jecoil, thank you very much! Thanks to you my Lakeview Manor is so much better!

hey I just started using this mod and I noticed an invisible weapon display between the two mannequins on the second floor ( the ones near the enchanting table) in your images there is clearly one present. I haven't used any console commands to make it dissapear and I havent build anything using the work tables yet.
Smurfylicious Jul 27, 2015 @ 4:14am
I really like this mod but am having difficulties with it. None of the display cases will activate and let me use them and I can't just drop an item in because it won't 'fall' into the case instead it just floats and when the lid gets put down the item ends up on top of the display case

I usually dont comment on mods but this one.... I was amazed by the detail and the sheer overall coolness of this mod... I applaud you sir, this is definitly one of my favorites now.
Statman Jun 30, 2015 @ 1:05pm
Its good but where does the steward sleep now?
Zenephi Jul 30, 2013 @ 10:42pm
does it just work with lakeview or does it also work with the other houses of hearthfire?
Kailyn Jul 22, 2013 @ 10:24pm
@Executioner - there are excellent kitchen mods for the back room of all the houses by Sherzie on the Nexus.
Executioner Jul 18, 2013 @ 1:03pm
also, you need to turn the trophy case you put in the corner of the dining room. it's facing the wrong way
Executioner Jul 15, 2013 @ 3:27pm
could you make a version with kitchen modifications in the back room?
[bSun] Crossfire Jul 4, 2013 @ 11:29am
i found my save before (: no need anymore

Ya this mod wish it didnt mess with the main hall i really like the waepon cases there ):
could you repalce the "book cases" in the bedrooms with true bookcases and amake a mod that way i just need a few more. i have a seperate mod that replaces the storage area with a small library but i collect so there isnt enough room still. i would much apreciate it if you could do this request (:
jecoil  [author] Jul 4, 2013 @ 11:18am
Try using "resetinterior BYOHHouse1Falkreath" in the console.
[bSun] Crossfire Jul 4, 2013 @ 10:33am
i was not inside the house and my save was over ridden somehow..............
jecoil  [author] Jul 4, 2013 @ 7:22am
Do you have a save from before you loaded this mod? Not sure why you had so much trouble with it. Did you make sure you were not inside the house?

[bSun] Crossfire Jul 4, 2013 @ 12:53am
WELL CRAP i disabled this m,od to fix something and the cellar door got removed and now i cant get to my cellar any ideas!? on how to get back down or find or fix the door!? plz help i have valuables down htere!~!
[bSun] Crossfire Jul 4, 2013 @ 12:07am

so sorry for the inconvienece
and i give you the best luck for those who didnt screw up lol
jecoil  [author] Jul 4, 2013 @ 12:06am
Sorry I just missed you Crossfire.

This has a slightly higher book capacity than the library tower did - made sure of that. I'm a book collector myself.
[bSun] Crossfire Jul 4, 2013 @ 12:01am
WEll it squished everything and the shelves didnt apear ): what am i doing wrong?
Bunde Jun 29, 2013 @ 12:59pm
Im not sure but it started working now.
jecoil  [author] Jun 29, 2013 @ 12:47pm
Did you make sure you saved outside the house before enabling?
Bunde Jun 29, 2013 @ 4:48am
I cant activate the new bookshelves your mod adds. Any idea how to fix this?
jecoil  [author] Jun 25, 2013 @ 11:03am
Not the wing, but the small room in the Main Hall first floor just behind the fireplace.
Willow Jun 25, 2013 @ 9:49am
When you say "build the backroom furnishings", do you mean the wing in the back of the house, or a different area? I just want to make sure I have it right before installing your mod. Great mod by the way, I love collecting books around Skyrim!
Sleepless Laborer Jun 25, 2013 @ 9:40am
GENIOUS, putting an activateable bookshelf on a wall shelf!
jecoil  [author] Jun 23, 2013 @ 7:35am
If you already had the interior built, you will have clipping problems with the new furniture - this is a save-game issue. You will have to manually disable the old stuff using the console (select and type markfordelete or disable).

I left the back room untouched so people can use the Hearthfire Kitchen mod along with mine. Any other mod that alters the Main Hall or Entryway will conflict.

Mods that change the exterior only will be fine.
Nantia Jun 23, 2013 @ 3:52am
seems like a cool mod, only all the cuboards and shelves ended up squashed and overlapping upstairs. Does this mod conflict with any other lake view mods?
Executioner Jun 19, 2013 @ 9:07pm
had a brain blast. you know how the trophy room is just on the ground floor? why not make the second floor the greenhouse
jecoil  [author] Jun 14, 2013 @ 11:01am
Fixed the trophy stand facing the wall - xmarker got fliped around somehow. Dont know if that will fix existing trophys though - someone let me know.

The navmesh was not extending under the stairs, so followers couldn't reach the trapdoor. Tweeked the mesh, seems to work now (meeko followed me into the cellar). Hope that solves the problem.

The large case in the library was never meant to hold weapons, just books. In order to do what I want with it, it will need its own script.
Executioner Jun 13, 2013 @ 11:15am
i noticed that. r u working on a fix?

also noticed that followers don't follow u into the cellar
jecoil  [author] Jun 11, 2013 @ 9:30pm
The large case in the Library doesn't have an activator, so you will have to put things in manually. The dagger display case does have one, but will only accept daggers.
Executioner Jun 11, 2013 @ 6:15pm
putting the kitchen mod last in the load order fixed the missing oven bug
Executioner Jun 11, 2013 @ 1:32pm
the kitchen mod is missing the oven. additionally, the weapon display case in the library is not working (as in i can't mount a weapon in it). otherwise a good mod
WolfCat Jun 3, 2013 @ 12:55am
Well I really like your mod but I'm not able to get the Lakeview kitchen mod. So I'm going to unsubscribe. Keep up the good work.
Vandelion Jun 2, 2013 @ 1:40pm
The small trophy stand in the main hall when you put a trophy on it, it faces the wall otherwise well done!
WolfCat May 30, 2013 @ 11:42am
Understand completely. I'm looking forward to your future mods.
jecoil  [author] May 30, 2013 @ 9:26am
Ihall1025: Sorry took so long to reply, been busy. If I can find the time I'll try to make versions of my Lakeview mods for Windstad. My focus right now is on Lakeview, since thats my primary home. I dont yet have the third house in-game (dont even know how to get it yet), so I probably won't be doing anything with that one anytime soon.
jecoil  [author] May 28, 2013 @ 10:43am
Important update: I have noticed some of the bookcases are eating books. The books are visable on the shelf, and can be accessed, but they disappear if you open the bookshelf itself. This seems to be caused by the shortcut I used to make them (the one that required Unlimited Bookshelves mod). I am currently working on a fix for this that will remove that mod dependency. The bookshelves along the outer wall are working fine - in the meantime, remove your books one at a time to clear the shelves that are bad.
WolfCat May 24, 2013 @ 12:32am
If you could apply this mod to Winstad. I don't know the names of the other manors. But they are the ones you have to build on the land my character buys from the steward.
jecoil  [author] May 22, 2013 @ 9:12pm
Which one?
WolfCat May 22, 2013 @ 3:02am
Love this mod. I have a request. Can you make this mod for the rest of the player bought homes?
jecoil  [author] May 20, 2013 @ 10:02am
Sorry shadowdancer. I re-disabled everything back there. Those that want them will have to build them before enabling this mod. If you have to, you can use the console to remove any unwanted items that remain. As I said, I am new at this, so I appreciate your patience and understanding, as well as you taking the time to tell me when I screw up.
shadowdancer1 May 20, 2013 @ 4:36am
Great. But I thought you did this mod with "Sherzie's Lakeview House Kitchen" in mind. You enabled the stuff in the back room and messed up the kitchen.
jecoil  [author] May 19, 2013 @ 9:33pm
Update: Fixed the items under the right-hand stairs that were not enabled. Moved the basement teleporter so your character isnt appearing under the ladder. Also enabled all the furniture and items in the back room.
Caden May 19, 2013 @ 7:57am
i wish i has seen this mod a few days ago :) i spent the last 3 days remodeling the inside of my lakeview house, not for a steam mod but for my own game, so unfortunatly i wont be able to subscribe, but thumbs up and favorute for the time and effort i know you put into this
kurtrhinehart May 18, 2013 @ 2:22pm
This looks like an excellent idea. I won't be able to use it yet as I have already constructed Lakeview manor without a bedroom. But agree that the choices it gives you are a little too restrictive and it is good to see a mod out that will brroaden your choices. I hope you have time to make another like this in the future.
shadowdancer1 May 18, 2013 @ 1:53pm
I have a very minor issue when I go into the cellar... I am under the ladder facing the wall. Is this something you can fix?

Also the one stair looks kinda plain and boring compared to the work you did. Maybe a large planter for several plants (like mushrooms).
