@steffire3: Hey man I replied on Discord but I'll let you know here too. It seems that as steam has been updated my instructions no longer apply. Apparently you can still get it to work by manually searching for the controller config as follows:

- Open Big Picture Mode (icon in the upper right, or, under the "View" menu tab)
- Library
- Select "Torchlight 2"
- In the left-side menu, select "Manage Game"
- Select "Controller Configuration"
- Next screen shows your controller. At the bottom, click "Browse Configs"
- Select "Community" category
- Find and select Aherin's configuration called: "TL2 Universal Binding (with cursor Off/On)"
- Click "Apply Configuration"
- Done

@ (author) : There's someone who mentioned to me on Discord that they couldn't press 'enter' in Big Picture mode at the step that requires the Controller Profile Link to be pasted. I'm currently searching for any solution on the internet.

What other mods are you running?
Taidapanda.ttv 6 Eyl 2019 @ 1:35
Just didn't work for me unfortunately. Imported and applied the config, got it to work on the main menu, then didn't work for the rest of the game.
Boba194230 4 Haz 2019 @ 14:31
Please make it customizeable somehow

*Made it so the player can't use skills (but is also invunerable) when the wayportal menus are open. This will stop the player using skills bound to x and y when using the quick keys. (At the moment this only works for single player. I can make it for mp too but I'd need people to help me test it.)

Aherin  [yaratıcı] 27 Eyl 2018 @ 4:21
*Updated screenshots to reflect minor tweaks to the hud etc
Aherin  [yaratıcı] 22 Eyl 2018 @ 18:25
*Just reduced the brightness of the buff borders a little to differentiate from the active skill border
Aherin  [yaratıcı] 22 Eyl 2018 @ 5:42
*Added a gold border to player buff icons so you can tell them apart from the skill icons better. I've found in the heat of battle, looking down there can be confusing with cooldown and effect timers of the same skill running right next to each other.

*There was an issue where sometimes the settings menu would show when you quit to the main menu. (I think I got it..)
Aherin  [yaratıcı] 4 Eyl 2018 @ 5:26
*Changed the font size on the xp bar and added "XP" at the end.
Aherin  [yaratıcı] 21 Ağu 2018 @ 23:13
*Fixed a display issue with the xp bar. It didn't go all the way along the belt when full.
Маманебалан 21 Ağu 2018 @ 13:20
thx ur de best)
Aherin  [yaratıcı] 19 Ağu 2018 @ 5:36
*Slightly adjusted the belt and vanilla charge bars so they are all in the same position/not clipped
Aherin  [yaratıcı] 15 Ağu 2018 @ 1:01
*Increased the size of the skill icons in the bind menu slightly so that long cooldowns display correctly. I'll do the same for the xbox mod but it'll take a little while. I'm having to make changes to the hud manually in a text editor to prevent bugs from reappearing!
Aherin  [yaratıcı] 11 Ağu 2018 @ 2:14
Ok! Last edit for a while. Made a separate unique infinite portal scroll that can be bought from general vendors. Use this in your Hotkey slot 0 :)
Aherin  [yaratıcı] 10 Ağu 2018 @ 5:30
Town portal key was still acting weird so I nuked the problem by making portal scrolls infinite :D
Aherin  [yaratıcı] 8 Ağu 2018 @ 4:40
Updated the controller profile. Opening the potion of insight menu shouldn't be so finicky now. It only activates once when pressed. Same goes for the town portal hotkey 0. Now you won't use all your scrolls in one press!

*You'll need to recopy the link and apply it for this to take effect*
Aherin  [yaratıcı] 4 Ağu 2018 @ 15:36
*Just testing out a little update to this. Going to move the player buffs down to the left above skills 1-5. This mean thats when you play a custom class the charge bar won't block the buff icons.
Aherin  [yaratıcı] 1 Ağu 2018 @ 13:41
OK the Xbox controller mod is up! Here it is:

I'll see what i can do :) If I can come up with a control scheme that works, it isn't hard to alter the look of the ui. Might have to sacrifce a few buttons though. Anything on the current layout you feel isn't needed? Like the zoom for example? I think the hide/show cursor is pretty important..
dubord 31 Tem 2018 @ 17:30
make one for xbox 360 controller plzzz :)
Aherin  [yaratıcı] 28 Tem 2018 @ 22:50
Ha thanks man :) Can you make controller profiles for Xbox controllers on steam? If so I'd be more willing to take a look at doing it ;)
ThatCozyBear 28 Tem 2018 @ 22:38
I just gave one (and secreatly hoping for a xbox controler version haha
Aherin  [yaratıcı] 28 Tem 2018 @ 22:28
Just one more thumbs up and I'll get some pretty stars :p
Aherin  [yaratıcı] 28 Tem 2018 @ 0:08
Thanks to everyone who's subscribed :) Don't forget to give it the thumbs up ;) cheers!
Aherin  [yaratıcı] 27 Tem 2018 @ 6:47
*Another small update:

-Pressing the analog stick on the title screen will show your last played character ready to resume.
- I reduced the size of the consumable count font
- I've updated the equipment and spell toottips too show the steam controls to buy/sell/equip etc
Aherin  [yaratıcı] 25 Tem 2018 @ 4:48
*Little update to the steam controller layout. If you hold down the right trigger (for left click) you can quickly buy potions or sell/swap items. Mod description updated with new link.
SjmSon 25 Tem 2018 @ 3:51
ok
Aherin  [yaratıcı] 24 Tem 2018 @ 19:59
Well the menus would work if you set up all the buttons the same but the hud wouldn't really make sense. This mod is designed around the functions of the steam controller really.
SjmSon 24 Tem 2018 @ 8:30
can play with xbox controller ?
Aherin  [yaratıcı] 24 Tem 2018 @ 6:16
*Update* Pressing down the the analog stick now hides the quest list on the side. I found using it to force move was too cumbersome and kind of redundant.

**You will need to apply the new profile in the description for it to work!!**
Aherin  [yaratıcı] 23 Tem 2018 @ 23:27
*K nother thing fixed. Should be able to see chargebar tooltips now ;)
Aherin  [yaratıcı] 23 Tem 2018 @ 18:45
Ok FINALLY! Got it to work properly. I'm done with the HUD for now, mostly because everytime I change one thing, it mucks up something else totally unrelated. Ha it's driving me nuts!
Aherin  [yaratıcı] 23 Tem 2018 @ 16:57
*Made it so you can turn off centre health globes, still got a bit of a bug happening. Right now you can only toggle item on the ground when centred globes is untoggled. Can't seem to click anything on the items toggle when the globes are centred.. Very weird!
Aherin  [yaratıcı] 23 Tem 2018 @ 1:31
Well the menus would mostly work if you were to bind Hotkey 1 to B, Hotkey 2 to Y, Hotkey 3 to X and Hotkey 4 to A. Also, you'd need to bind a controller button to shift to access the potion belt hotkeys and the setting menu/quick quit in the main screen. Some menus I've shown the start key button with the triangle as I've bound esc to it. You'd have to do this all yourself though and the HUD obviously wouldn't really make sense :)
Michael 23 Tem 2018 @ 0:34
In theory it could work with any controller, since you're just copying over the binds. However, anything that would require LG, RG, or the touchpads, would be inaccesssible. (Unless the stick and d-pad can do what the touchpads do.)
LOLgi 23 Tem 2018 @ 0:17
does it work with other controllers?
Or Steam Controller only?
Aherin  [yaratıcı] 22 Tem 2018 @ 6:39
*Added xp stats to xp bar
-Still working on adding back in non centred health orbs (spent most of tonight sorting out a keybind breaking bug every time i tried to change something in GUTS!)
Aherin  [yaratıcı] 21 Tem 2018 @ 22:24
General gameplay I find ends up being as good using a controller, especially for melee classes. It does take a bit of getting used to. You'll need to get a feel for the range of attack on your skills because when you use the mouse it actually chases your target to get in range if you hold down the button. Controller is more manual mode :) Navigating menus (moving/selling items etc) is defintely more of a hassle, but doable.
peach4hubby69 21 Tem 2018 @ 12:13
How much harder it is to play the game with controller instead the normal way ?
Aherin  [yaratıcı] 21 Tem 2018 @ 6:20
K I'm about to update with a new version of the hud :/ If you all hate it, I'll change it back :) It moves the hotkeys back along the bottom like the vanilla hud, but keeps the belt in the middle. The xp bar is now actually the belt itself in a way. Take a look and see what I mean. When you press alt the belt slots will disappear to show a blue xp bar.

Now one thing is kind of drastic.. I totally got rid of the right mouse skill select from the main screen and put it in the controller menu. I found I was hiding that side of the hud anyay. I also removed the tab skill entirely seeing as it's not even mapped to the control layout. It's too fiddly imo to tab skills when you can just press a controller button directly.

Anyway if you all totally hate it I'll change it back. Let me know what you think ;)
*Yuki* 20 Tem 2018 @ 8:26
well, you can always include portion of cosmetic slots into your mod (its not something necessary, but also wont be gamebreaking for people will different tastes, since it doesnt add anything stats-wise). The only questionable thing would be amount of inventory slots - some people prefer vanilla, others use mods for thousand pages
Aherin  [yaratıcı] 20 Tem 2018 @ 4:55
Yeah you're right for sure Yuki. I ask myself the question as to whether I'd like to mess with people's inventory or cosmetic slot mods. If I was staying true to the concept of "full controller support" then I'd have to do it I guess Ha :)
*Yuki* 20 Tem 2018 @ 4:15
I mean - since you can already switch skill tabs, its possible to use this function
