where on genesis is the town of hope? i looked through the spider plains and the stenn desert and found nothing

I hope you update this. I think it is a wonderful concept. Hope town is completely empty. There are no npc's in it in my game. If I understood how to mod I would be tempted to create the traders for the shops in the town but my experience with modding has been met with dismal success. The traveling surgeon group seems to work well. I ran into a squad and was able to interact with them. It would be nice if a purchasable map of the guild town locations could be bought. Thanks for the mod. I love the idea of it and I hope it finds the care and tlc that it needs.

Impossible to find Alistair. I've spent hours trying to find him. Different run, fresh new start, importing death npc. Tried everything but its just impossible.

I so like this mod. I just wish towns like Hope would have a small rework. There are so few things you can do there. Need a bit more traders, some general stuff. Bars are also really empty and depressive with very few things to buy. Most of the containers and boxes are empty, wish that town could prospect over time. Buying a house inside of Hope is very safe, but there's no general vendors to support that, have to run different places to get some building mats etc. It is still a must in my collection though. Just needs a small facelift.

Does this mod add in the "Shek Apothecary" in Squin? Trying to track down which mod it is, they keep fighting my party for no reason and getting me arrested, lmao.

@andrewo0832 I did want to do something with this with the world states, but I still haven't given the states a good look yet.
@Dosboy, genuinely no idea, not something I put in intentionally, didn't even know it was possible, feel like it must be a bug or something :/ I do apologize for it, but not sure thats on my end.

@ChaosChuck, I almost certain I made unique Merchant squads for HN territory that don't sell anything the HN would disapprove of. I'll have to check, but I have to imagine it was another squad that wandered in whilst patrolling another biome.

Wondering how I get my armor back after being arrested. Can't find any police chief and all the containers are empty in the place I was locked up in. No other people with bubbles to talk to.

Love this mod. Any idea why they took my masterwork armor when I was arrested? Never had that happen before in 5k hours of the game.

I am so grateful for this great mod provide a way of free surgery for those players of bedrock bottom start like me who have 1 billion debt at their start and 200 cats is an impossible goal for them, No word can express the appreciation in my heart, thank you for your great effort!

This mod is great, but it is immersion braking when there are merchants who openly sell robotics in the Holy Nation while the Inquisitors and Paladins are uninvolved (not murdering the heretics of Narko!).

I am currently trying to find a way to hack the holy nation code and adjust The Holy Nation's relationship with the Guild of Surgeons in order to better represent the game lore. But I am terrible with code.

I see a lot of problems that need fixing and some ideas that i need to implement. My plans are;

-Make Alistair easier to recruit, everyone has problems finding and recruiting him so clearly something needs to be done, I have an idea for it.

-Tweak the roaming surgeons strength and behavior, they give too much loot too easily, also they seem to attack players a lot, not sure why that is. As @crux pointed out they could do with some work on their behavior in terms of helping friendlies too.

- Add additional dialogue for the unique companions.

-Not sure if I want to add in more bases for them as I feel like they'd go from a minor faction into a major one, but I really want to see if I can make it possible for them to take over a few places with the players help maybe, for good reason of course.

Hi all, it has been a long time since I was in the mood for Kenshi and for working on this mod, but the fact that people still comment on it has made me want to continue working on it after all this time.

It mostly needs polishing more than anything, I'm not sure there is much more content I could add in, but if I get back into it I might work on the other faction mod I was making, which is a major faction. Doesn't add anything generally useful into the game, its more for fun.

@Gomez Solonez, honestly I don't remember, I will have to check the mod files haha. I believe you just have to have good relations with the guild?

Every time I find a pair of wandering surgeons they usually get beaten up really quickly, and contain a good amount of loot. May I suggest boosting their default stats so they can use their heavy staves a bit more effectively?

Best mod for a friendly neutral allies. Menders are too much op, they live in the wild and have a lot of supplies which in turn doesn't make sense at all. xD They heal your enemies that doesn't change that much, but they will kill anyone who tries to kil you. This makes it hard for you to kill enemies fair =s I don't like when another party kills my enemies. =s
But this mod here, it is perfect. =)

I captured a Band of Bones character worth 3000 to the Guild of Surgeons. I'm currently in the Redman's Tower and there's no one to talk that will take him. Do I have to go all the way to Hope in Stenn desert?

I noticed that wandering surgeon traders (caravans) start to attack player squads for no reason (relations are good). On the bright side when you kill them all you get nice loot

Found spiders and, of course, brought her into the fold (great job with the dialogue) but for the life of me I cannot find Alistar. A bit worried that he could be killed or eaten or something by now because I have roamed Bast for 2-3 hours now and the only thing I saw relating to the Guild of Surgeons was one lone Nameless Surgeon running headlong into a fight between United and Holy.

Haven't seen that person since...

There seems to be a flaw with this mod where, whenever you are fighting hungry bandits which attack you first, the guild joins in to only fight my party. Then they'll heal the hungry bandits while said bandits are hitting the guild, toughing up their attack skills past insurmountable levels.

Later on, I was encountering non-despawning hungry bandits in the border zone with 40-50 attack just because they kept following a guild caravan, and hitting heavy armour dudes for thousands of times.

Oh, one more thing (I promise). If you do decide to add the "Put carried dude down when the can walk" AI goal to your roaming squads, add some weight to value 3 so they don't get stuck carrying people around by not prioritizing that function. That's all.

One more thing I caught when I noticed the battle surgeons were showing as part of the animal faction in game. You have the faction set under the Battle Surgeon character rather than the Squad Template. It should be the other way around. Also, on the Squad Template you have the battle surgeon(s) under Squad but don't have a Leader set. The AI has the "follow leader" command so it appears to be causing them to run non-stop looking for a leader that does not exist. You should add a leader and just use the same as you did for the squad, "Battle Surgeon."

nice mod, I'm enjoying it. I added the "rescue" and "Put carried dude down when they can walk" AI goals to the roaming squads after I noticed a roaming guild surgeon was healed by and then left behind for Beak Thing food by his bodyguards. These goals allow them to pick up squad mates and carry them along while they are in comas.

Lord I need to stay on top of comments huh? @Lord Nhan, she should do, but I might have implemented it poorly. I am not the best at implementing dialogue correctly haha.

@Rocket_Dog. I'm glad you like her, I was very proud when I made her, whenever I get back in the mood for modding I plan to add a lot more dialogue for the unique recruits.

@Indoknight, Honestly there's nothing I can do about it if it's from Genesis' end, that doesn't seem to happen from the base mod so I can only assume it's from Genesis. I mean I can't be sure of that of course.

@Emiredd, Alistair should just be wandering around Bast, he was meant to be a bit of a fun random find and I wanted to see if it was possible to make unique recruits that way.

Hey mod author, I'm having the same issue that The Arcanian is. Got this mod inside Genesis. Everytime I fight the dust bandits, and a surgeon squad happens to be nearby, they'll agro on me but they won't attack the dust bandits even when they are being shot by them.

So I am playing Project Genisis with a skeleton. I get attacked by some starving bandits for some meat I was holding. So I run over to a surgeon squad for some backup, and the squad agros to me. Is this intended?

@Iron Jam. I will remember to put that mod conflict in the description next time I update the mod. I have tested to make sure Alistair is walking around, so he is somewhere in Bast, just uh, yeah can take a little while. Glad you're enjoying it though :)

Thought I'd give a fair warning - I've found that the Apothecary crashes with the mod "Pearl" (adds in a new city). They were built in the same place, which understandably causes issues. I myself have gotten around it by simply moving one of the towns slightly further up the road, but you might want to warn others that the two mods conflict.

Anyway, this is a great mod! I haven't explored too far beyond occasionally running into Surgeon squads and the Apothecary, but so far I'm loving it! Great job. I'm currently just wandering around in Bast trying to find the absent Alistair, as I promised Doctor Miss I would. No luck so far, and I have a feeling this is going to take a long time haha

You might not be able to buff, however you can use those as a advance healing item, for now atleast. For example the adrenalin shot has a super quick apply time for a portion of health

Idea: Stimulants, Adrenaline shots, etc.
Basically consumable "buff" items, maybe even some emergency fast healing stim (should be quite expensive, but might as well be a great money sink late game).
