And the exterior mirrors—please check them again when it gets dark.

The authors of the truck would have to add a shifter option, but I doubt they will ever work on it again.

My "Truck Fixes" mod is updated to V1.1. This mod fixes the main issues with the GTM trucks, the headlights, mirrors, reflections on the interior glass, bad audio reverberation inside the cab, and adds support for the interior shadows option. To get the Truck Fixes mod, first search for "Real Good Headlights for Modded Trucks" here on Steam. Then click on Discussions and read the message about the Truck Fixes mod. It contains a direct download link for the mod from my own website. Place the mod above the GTM trucks in the mod manager. If you choose to also use my Real Good Headlights mod, place that above the Truck Fixes mod. Enjoy.

I think I remember reading somewhere that one of the chassis' had an issue. Try a different chassis and see if it works OK. I use the typical 6x4 and have no issues at all.

Yesterday, I drove this truck from Grand Island, NE down into eastern Texas and then west to Las Cruces, NM. It ran great all the way. But, it requires my mod, "Real Good Headlights for Modded Trucks" here on Steam. Without that mod, you will not like the headlights. It also fixes the mirrors. The mirrors are moving to a different mod real soon.

This is working with 1.54?

Just letting everyone know that I have fixed the reflection issue in the windows. It will be included in the next update of my mod, "Real Good Headlights for Modded Trucks", here on Steam. The mod now fixes the headlights, the mirrors, and the windows. The update should be ready sometime this weekend.

The GTM trucks can be used now. I just added all 3 to my headlight mod. I also included a bonus fix for the main mirrors. These trucks are rising from the dead. Search for "Real Good Headlights". You will find two mods, one for the SCS trucks and one for Modded trucks.

I love this truck, but as some of the other have said, the mirrors are a little too bright to where they look washed out in the day time, and the lights are way too bright at night, essentially killing your night vision to where you can no longer see inside the cab or use your mirrors.

mod is broken. can't even change any accessories on it. Please fix it.

This is a nice truck, headlights are far too bright, and if i turn in the lights, everything else goes a lot darker.
Can`t even see something in the mirror at night.

! little problem more, street lanterns seem to shine in through the roof. The whole truck ist bright inside, standing under a lantern.

Besides these bugs, the truck is awesome.

(Crock) There is a mod on steam that fixes the headlights.Or the one on SCS forum that fixes the mirrors also.

@Pertinentmoth The reason the headlights are so bright because the headlights were not updated once 1.40 came out (graphics overhaul) which made headlights much (much) darker.

So like others here, I have installed this old version an bought it in game now. If I change the version to the new one, will it still be available in my garage or will it be broken and do I have to buy a new one?

The version here on Steam is very old; it's surprising that it still works at all. Use the new version of the mod linked just below, and "GTM Headlight Options" here on Steam to fix the headlight issues and the exterior mirrors being unusable in the dark (at least that was the case for me).

anyone know a way for this truck to down its headlights? whenever I use the truck at night the headlights are too bright and some of my stuff come out very dark

Just installed it and it works fine.

Chose the Gearbox first and the game will not crash, The 12 speed Paccared gearbox only works with the Paccard engine

Unfortunately game crashes if I try too choose an engine in the shop. Tried serveral versions of this mod from different pages. All the same effect. Doesn't look like it hasn't been upgraded to Version 1.49

This mod has not been updated for awhile I think the mods have been abandoned. for those complaining about the headlights its been like that for years

for me any of the trucks this guy has made, the bloody headlights are super bright at night and i cant see anything but the road!!!

does this mod come with truck, or just the upgrades?

The truck's mirrors are way too bright during the day and way too dark at night. Does anyone have an idea how I can solve this? Thanks in advance for the feedback.

My nephew tried this one out and he said the lights were too bright. Is there anyway to lower the brightness for it. Thanks for any help

Easy fix fellas, no update. I just placed this mod at the top of my mod list. I have customized, installed an engine from JC's amateur engine pack. I have went in and out of the customize shop several times and just ran the truck from Dallas, TX to Barstow, CA. with no crashes and no issues at all.
Also I will say that it is a really nice truck mod.

Please update this mod.
