The music and sound enhancement really makes this mod go one-step-beyond. The area is otherwise bleak. This creates a cool cinematic experience.
OdstSpartan534 4. maj 2015 kl. 6:23
you should make a portal to another place or a safe house would be nice.
I Darkstar X 30. apr. 2015 kl. 15:45
Make it do something? Like glitch out and vanish when you interact with it?
nighthawk224 2. okt. 2014 kl. 2:37
OK, I completely creeped myself out with this mod. Snagged it a long time ago and never went there and then completely forgot about it. So then I am troubleshooting bugs last week and fighting a dragon in the area and my hair is standing up on the back of my neck.. look up and around and THERE IT IS... :D
HelpJumper 9. aug. 2014 kl. 2:44

The mod hasn't been changed so I'm not sure. If it worked before for you then it should work now too.

i have about 70 mods downloaded so i kinda lost track. so while i was playing skyrim i was just doing a mod quest when all of the sudden an elder dragon attacked, after defeating the dragon i heard a wailing noise i looked around and sawthe monolith with five op pony dragons circleing it that started to attack. the battle lasted over 45 minuets, Iit was my most memorable skyrim moment
Mushroom 7. sep. 2013 kl. 11:30

The premiere date was April 2, 1968 and went into general release on the Fourth. I was 4 then, but I wouldn't get to see it until it was shown on TV in 1977 as part of a homework assigment. So thanks to that teacher, I saw a great movie, on a tiny 19" color TV, that we missed seeing on the big screen. I didn't allow myself to miss the sequel though! But anyway, great idea for a mod! So thanks for making it, Ikarop! By the way, did you know that in the transition scene from tossed up high, bone-club to high orbit satellite, that said satellite was a nuclear weapons platform? It was done to demonstrate how Early Man went from that improvised bone club, to nuclear weaponry in the "cosmic blink of an eye".Will subscribe now and hope that it works for me!

Thank you for that comment! You're awesome.

Installed this mod a while ago and forgot all about it. I was heading to the Eldergleam Grove at night for the Gildergreen quest. The music started and wasn't paying much attention since the background music was playing as well. Then the closer I got the more intense the music was getting. I was freaking out a little. And when I first saw it overtop the hill the music hit its peak and the high pitch tone sent chills down my back. In most recent years that was one of the best game expirences I had. Thank you! This mod IS perfect.
draculano 29. sep. 2012 kl. 18:45
love this mode
Wakka 15. sep. 2012 kl. 18:35
this mod is 100% lore friendly!... think about it...... *creepy music*
Sel 9. sep. 2012 kl. 19:53
Awesome mod! The wailings around the monolith freaked the hell out of me the first time I heard them.
Dead_Pilot 7. aug. 2012 kl. 19:13
WOW!!!
Leif 15. juli 2012 kl. 17:51
I love this mod. If only the music eminating from the Monolith scaled in volume depending on how close the player was to it. Standing next to the Monolith and hearing the louder wailing loop would be too awesome. Keep up the good work.
MDR42lifelemons 5. juli 2012 kl. 10:15
I'm sorry Dave.

Ikarop  [ophavsmand] 25. apr. 2012 kl. 12:59
@dolan It does actually!
Joe Mauma 25. apr. 2012 kl. 10:30
It'd be cool if Lux Aeterna played as you got closer to it
none 22. apr. 2012 kl. 23:17
LOL touch the monolith and get a giant's bone / stone club !
Pfc. Hungry P Tiredman 20. apr. 2012 kl. 12:47
you should add some quests tied to this i personally would love to be contacted by aliens in skyrim MABYE the trolls are long lost descendants of a highly advanced race! and now they have sent the monolith to make contact with nirn!
danielkennedy91 13. apr. 2012 kl. 16:14
The monolith doesn't drive people to go on a killing spree, it taught the pre-humans how to kill and evolve to the next stage of evolution, just like at the end of the film when the astronaut was taught to evolve into a star child. So maybe this monolith could teach the player a new skill?
Steve 22. mar. 2012 kl. 11:52
Haven't had a chance to find it in-game yet, but I am very excited (not forcing it).

I'm not sure if this is in the realm of possibility - but do you think you would be able to make the Monolith spawn randomly? Having it spawn in a different place on every load might make finding it near impossible, but having it relocate after you leave its area each time would be tremendous. Is such a thing possible or am I simply dreaming?

Thanks.
pooknottin 20. mar. 2012 kl. 6:33
This is so wierd. I was playing last night and for some reason thought, "I wonder if I'm going to find the black monolith in this tomb."
none 17. mar. 2012 kl. 14:18
Well, in the movie - touching the stone drove people into a fighting frenzy. So it could have a 'Berserker's Rage' blessing for 4 hours, boosting light and heavy armor by 20 points and boost one-handed and two-handed weapons damage by 10 points.

All issues fixed.
Slickbet 6. mar. 2012 kl. 9:39
Finally got around to visiting the site of the monolith. I really expected it to be much bigger. As long as you keep to the proper dimensions, I think you need to increse the size.

But it seems that I too have the same performance issues. Crashes and heavy lag with this mod. Removed and all is good. Too bad....will check back for updates.
Divarnos 5. mar. 2012 kl. 22:10
I subscribed to this mod and I had lag issues (frame rate). My GPU usage would go from 99% down to 0% and back up to 99% and down to 0% (100+ fps down to 17fps, back and forth). This was from just loading this mod without even visiting the Monolith. Norton popped up and gave me a warning that Skyrim had CPU over usage. I exited the game and unchecked this mod. Everything back to normal. Unsubscribed till fixed.
Tesrali 5. mar. 2012 kl. 10:30
If you walk up to it and activate, you should be transported to a room you can't get out of . . . and then killed.
